“Great breakfast food. I eat there at least twice a week. Great menu. Traditional bacon, eggs, fried potatoes w/onions and toast is prepared perfectly every time. This may sound werd, but their multi-grain toast is to die for. I understand it is made special for the First Watch franchises. Also, they NEVER let your coffee run out. Good job, First Watch!!!“

“First time eating at Shack breakfast and Lunch.It was a very busy Saturday morning and one of the waitresses greeted us. It was extremely busy and she sat us very quickly. I wish I had her name for this review as she did outstanding. Food was also a 10 out of 10. The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. I don't live in Kansas City but next time I'm visiting I will definitely stop there.“
“Been wanting to come here for years. I worked on Metcalf and drove by every day. I was always on my to, or from work. Now I'm retired and go to breakfast 2-3 times a week. I had the Country Scramble. My friend had the Cowboy Omlete. Both were delicious. Atmosphere was quiet, quaint. Service could not have been any better. The coffee never ran dry. “The food was creative and delicious. They had a gluten free menu available. We alerted our server to the gluten allergy and she noted it. A member of the kitchen staff also double checked on the allergy issue. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Highly recommend.“
“The Big Biscuit was a great breakfast experience. Their biscuits are large and delicious along with all the other dishes that had a lot of thought put into their creation. Get the ‘Bonut’. It’s a biscuit dipped in French toast batter and lightly fried and then dusted with powdered sugar. You can enjoy it as is, or choose from a variety of accompaniments. We chose the fresh strawberries. It was so good! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. The bar area had 2 tv’s so if you’re wanting to watch a game, they had that going too.Parking: Huge parking lot with plenty of parking.“

But due to the cost of everything we ordered, we likely won't return unless it's for a special occasionDietary restrictions: We visited with a person who is gluten intolerant and also a person who is dairy, egg, and nut intolerant – none of these intolerances are life-threatening, thankfully. Gluten was the easiest to accommodate and they did it very well; I'm told the gluten free pancake is very good. Avoiding dairy, eggs, and nuts was quite a bit more difficult but there were many options to choose from that met some or, maybe, all of the restrictions. The waitress seemed knowledgeable on the subject and was able to quickly find an answer to any allergen questions she didn't know the answer to herselfKid-friendliness: Kids menu provided with crayons and activities“

“The place was packed and we had to wait a minute for clean tables. The MANAGER came out to clean tables and sweep the floor under both tables. We were quickly waited on by a friendly and efficient waitress. There were 6 women working this shift and all were in top form. Even the 2 cooks were women and that was a new thing to see at WH. The food arrived cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. Everything was tasty and enjoyable. This is one of the best WH in the area with one of the best teams I've seen working. Great teamwork ladies! You all did a remarkable job handling a full house like pros. You are all hard workers and should be commended AND rewarded accordingly. I'll be back to your WH, for sure.“
“Food was very great for an Ihop!Pancakes were fresh and hot and the syrup and butter complimented it nicely. Had a subtle yet delicious sweet flavor to it. The scrambled eggs and hashbrowns were hot and flavorful with the eggs being fluffy and the hashbrowns crispy and tasty. Bacon was perfect, very crispy and had an authentic, smoky pork flavor to it.Everything tasted pleasantly like it was fresh from the kitchen.Atmosphere inside also looked very nice and was a huge improvement from the old Dragon Wok that used to be here. You also have a wide view of outside.Bathrooms were very clean and hygenic too.Staff were very friendly and nice and welcomed us in with only a 15 second wait for seating.
