“Stopped in because my nose could tell it was nearby. It didn't disappoint! The appetizer sample plate was a perfect lunch and you can't get that kind of food anywhere else than a place like this. Well done! Service was on point, very kind and perfectly attentive.“
“We dined in and had great service and a delicious lunch. We had been there many a time and would definitely keep going!!Vegetarian options: A great salad with delicious dressing. Their pita bread was so very delicious.Dietary restrictions: I could not eat some of the items as they were not good for me.“
“Always the best! The lunch special is always a big Greek salad and a sandwich. Their salad dressing is simple but very tasty. I always get the gyro sandwich. The pita bread is fresh, warm, and tender. It's stuffed to the max with gyro neat. This isn't the packaged stuff. It's thinly sliced from the big vertical grill. Well seasoned and crispy around the edges. Add tomatoes and onions, garnish with the tzatziki sauce, and enjoy. In the unlikely event you're still hungry, hit the Greek pastry case.“
“Absolutely delicious! Produce was extremely fresh and chilled and complimented both the Gyro and the Roasted Pepper Hummus! It's a must you get both cucumber and pita bread for the hummus! We bought two gyros, an order of hummus and an extra pita- the value was spot on for the order!Cannot wait to go back!“
“OMG! This was my first time here and I'm sad I waited so long. Delicious! I had the beef gyro plate and so flavorful. The pita was nice a soft. I didn't find anything I didn't like. The service was great, quick and very kind too. I'll be back for sure.“
“Dropped in for a late lunch on Saturday and had a wonderful experience. Karim and the other staff were helpful and attentive. Great service and great food everyone we’ve been. Had the kebab sandwich with beef sirloin and it’s a new fave!“
“Had a great experience trying Nick the Greek for the first time! I perused the menu before going in so I knew exactly what I wanted to order. I ordered the beef/lamb gyro with fries and a drink. Everything got to me in a reasonable time and was absolutely hot and fresh. The gyro itself was loaded with meat and I loved their tzatziki sauce. This is where my one complaint comes from though but it is personal preference. If you like a lot of sauce I would ask for extra. I can never have enough of the tzatziki The fries were really good and had a good seasoning on them. I will say too, one order is enough for two people! I want to try the Greek fries next time which has feta! I will definitely be back again!“
“Great little spot. We picked up a few chicken gyros that were delicious and very reasonably priced! The falafel was amazing. The market itself has food items and produce for quick shopping. Definitely will be coming back again whenever I want a gyro fix!“
“The Greek charcuterie board(flat bread, olives, cucumber slices, greek yogurt and hummus dips) were amazingly good. But the tortellini with white sauce had mushy tortellini noodles($35) I've had way better, but my husband loved the fish of the day. (Sea salt encrusted baked fish, I'm not sure...but around $45) Only fish, no side dishes. Overall, the flatbread board was sooo good....everything else...way over priced. And ok.“
“this is the 2nd time we have been here each time we have been here the burgers are the best we have ever eaten, they were seasoned perfectly, you can here the burgers sizzling on the flames as they cook them, they are hands down the best burgers and sides we have ever “
“Greek food is one of my favorites! This was my 1st time trying this place and it did not disappoint. Ordered the Gyro Chicken bowl and what a great choice! Chicken was fresh and well seasoned, the Basmati rice tender and full of flavor served with grilled bell peppers and onions with a side Greek salad and warm pita bread this was an amazing lunch and best of all of I had some left over for later. Can't wait to try other menu items next time!“
“Came in today just on a whim. I've had Mediterranean but it's not my go-to so I thought to mix it up and this was in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the food.I started with a cup of Lentil soup. It was flavorful and subtle at the same time. I would definitely order a bowl next time.Following up, I ordered a gyro with a side of basmati. The gyro overall was good, but the taste of their sauce was a little too subtle than what I've had in the past. I also can't be too sure, but the cut of the lamb didn't seem fresh off the wheel like I've had before. It was good, but I did ask for a small side of tzatziki and tahini for extra pop. Basmati was good as well but I ended up using some of the tahini on that as well for some added flavor.I ended the meal with their assorted dessert plate to sample everything they had. The Ballourie (the thing that looks like a pair of Twix) was my favorite overall. Followed by the Burma Pistachio, which kind of tasted like sunflower seeds wrapped in shredded wheats, covered in honey; oddly delicious. The least, but still good, was the Baklava, which was a little too crunchy and not as tasty as the others. I'd order the assortment again, but I'd say one plate is good for one person, rather than to be shared. Now I will comment that even though the crew was nice, they were also not always present. I believe they must have been running a skeleton crew because the front person was also running to the kitchen to cook. That being said, this is definitely one of those places that feels more like an "order at the counter and eat at the table" sort of spot, rather than a full service. All the same, kind staff and was attentive with water and bussing when in eyesight. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop in again. Happy and well fed ?“
“Had the beef souvlaki. The portions are pretty reasonable, a good value, but it was not served on a skewer. You just have the feeling that it's not totally authentic, but it's still tasty.Restaurant is spacious, nice large booths, but you bus your own table.“
“My favorite middle eastern restaurant. Nationally recognized and delicious lentil soup, great baba ganoush, nice hummus with a green chili sauce, good dolmas, etcThe Jasmine's combo is hard to miss. The cauliflower zahra is also quite good.Great options whether you're looking for some veg fare or not.Features: Dining in is open.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes. They generally know what you mean when you order vegan. They will make the Jasmine's Vegetarian Combo vegan - by removing the feta and Krass Pastry and adding a little extra of something else.Really good Middle Eastern food, on par with Holy Land Cafe.“
“If you been for the Tasso's wine tasting you are missing out. It happens the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.Five courses, five wine pairing, live music and belly daning, all for $50 pp, it is a great deal. The chef creates a new menu each moth and you can usually preview the menu on the website under Upcoming Events about a week out.It is a reservation thing so make yours today.“
“Despite all the bad jokes and movie one liners about "gas station food" Papou makes it work. This Mediterranean restaurant is located in the convenience store of a small gas station and the food is really good. The gyros are hot and tasty what do you have as a sandwich, or with a side of rice. I especially enjoyed their falafel sandwiches, because it's hard to find falafel in the Kansas City area. People are always friendly and there's a few tables to sit and eat quietly.“
“Ok!!!! If you're a fan of Mediterranean Cuisine you are foolish if you don't go here and check these lovely people out....The food is flavorful, very well done in traditional Mediterranean style.Seasoned beautifully. They are warm and friendly. The place is clean... pricing is very reasonable. Just went hear for my first time. I had driven by it before and I always wondered.... I immediately called my son and told him there's a new Mediterranean place we have to go to. Looking forward to coming back..... Bravo!!!!“
