Overheard the manager talking about a female employee and how she just wants her gone because this employee is her sons ex. How unprofessional.

Cold soup and poor customer service.

TL;DR - Potbelly is a mid-tier, overpriced sandwich shop that tries to be a few steps fancier than Jimmy John'sI got a big Italian sandwich with all the free toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, hot peppers) except pickle on multigrain. Cost was around 13.50 including tax. Here's my takeaways:Did I like it? Yes. It was a decent sandwich but not life-changing. Ingredients tasted good all together, and the hot peppers added a great level of heat. The bread got over-toasted going through the oven, which made a mess and felt like a cheese grater on the roof of my mouth (we all know that feeling, right?). (1/2 stars)Did my wallet like it? Absolutely not. It's not a 12 dollar sandwich in my opinion. I might be biased from the almost constant Subway "5 dollar foot long” commercials I saw growing up, but nothing about this sandwich makes the cost worth it. Additionally, nothing about the restaurant experience made up for the cost either. (0/1 star)Would I choose to eat here again? Probably not. There's plenty of other sandwich shops around that will do an element of Potbelly better than them, or if I have the time I'll make a mid sandwich myself. (0/1 star)Is there anything that redeems or elevates this place? The hot peppers, wow. I'm about to the "hot" level at a Thai restaurant - these hot peppers had good flavor with heat, but not to the watery eyes & runny nose level. Really surprised at how good they were. Would advise caution to those who don't handle heat well (1/1 star)

Good food, not so great customer service. I didn't see any name tags but the only gentleman working and the only black woman working were very pleasant but their other coworkers acted like they were annoyed at my presence and did not want to help me.

Please read the 1 star reviews, they're accurate. Tried this place for the first time on a Friday night, with an online order. I arrived five minutes later than the pickup time, but the food was not ready. There were a total of 3 customers in line and one other person waiting on an online order. After waiting in line to see if they could work on my small order, I was told to wait and it would be done shortly. As of this review, I'm still waiting 25 minutes past the scheduled pickup time.

never order potbelly, extremely poor experience that could fail your online order and tell you their ordering system was not able to schedule your order and automatically cancel your order. Customer phone support was rude as well.

Got their pizza sub extra cheese. At these prices you're better off getting a Dominoes pizza. Tastes better and is cheaper. Also, this place sucks for dashers because they don't start your order until you get there. Not the worst. This is only based off one item.

Always a pleasure to see, and get a hello from everyone at potbelly!! Lisa, Shelly and the entire crew give the best most friendly attitude!!

Will not be visiting or ordering from this particular location again. Have been really happy ordering here through Uber for the past several months, but just had the worst interaction with the store manager.Tried to call in an order, and was told I could place it online. Explained that I’m aware of that, but have a coupon which can’t be applied online so was calling ahead. Was told I could come in and order it in person. While I appreciate the explanation of how food service works - as if it’s a foreign concept - I am in fact familiar.I explained again that I would like to place a phone order, as I have a limited lunch break and don’t have time to order in person. I asked if it was their company policy to refuse phone orders, to which the MANAGER dodged the question and again stated I could order online or in person. Literally the most bizarre, obstinate interaction I’ve ever had. Your sole purpose is to take orders and prepare food, like that is the entirety of the job. I just wanted a sandwich on my measly 30 minute lunch break. The manager could not be bothered.

Horrible experience, the store manager is extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Good food/ Horrible management.

Good sandwich, but store is so inefficient and terribly staffed I don’t have time to enjoy it.
