“Although I work here in Salina, I would eat at hogwild in Wichita(s. Rock rd ) about once a month. Our food has great smoke flavor, ribs fall off the bone. I enjoy working here, we have a great g.m and we're getting our staff locked in with great people who want to provide quality BBQ for people to enjoy. I've had customers come in and tell us that they are from all over the state and when they come through we are the bbq place to stop and eat and usually buy extra racks or ribs or pounds if meat for when they get home. “This is truly some of the best BBQ that I have ever had IMHO. The burnt ends are amazing! Sides: potato salad, coleslaw and baked beans are very good. The ribs are good but, I would consider the burnt ends to be the specialty of Hickory Hut.When my husband and I make the drive from Colorado to the east and back. We always try to time it so that we can stop at this restaurant & it never disappoints, been coming here for years.This should be a gold standard for this style of barbecue.“
