Finally got the chance to try Abelardo's and we loved it! Also, we had a great Val Pak coupon from them too.The restaurant itself is surprisingly more roomy than you think and I love the decoration/aesthetics of the place. I have been waiting for seventeen years to get a place like this in KC Metro. I haven't had a burrito this good since I lived in California. How do I get so lucky to have this less than 2 miles from my house!? I mean everything about this place is awesome: clean, cheerful atmosphere, super fresh flavorful ingredients, authenticity, friendly staff, and AMAZING food with an AWESOME menu selection. Shawnee friends, please get the word out because I don't want this venue going anywhere!

I've tried half the menu and it all has been tasty. The prices are cheap for the amount you get. Most of the meals become two meals for me. The chicken enchiladas are the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The shrimp bowl was cheaper than Chipotle and double the amount of food. Everything is better here than at Pancho's.
