“My wife woke up Sunday morning with an urge for bacon, so I told her I would get up and cook her some bacon. I asked if she wanted some eggs with her bacon and she said sure, but then decided she wanted someone else to cook for her. I don't know if that is something against my cooking or what, but we decided to go to the Iron Rail for brunch. I had the breakfast bowl and she had the big breakfast with pancakes. Of course I had to get her the Pig Rig! Everything was just great. Food was spot on, the atmosphere was great and we had great service! Guess my breakfast cooking days are over! I would highly recommend the Iron Rail!“
“The owner and employees are friendly and personable. Their products are flavorful and perfectly mixed. The outdoor setup is chill and inviting. It’s a great place to relax and unwind, especially when they hook up the music. I enjoy the old school music and atmosphere. I’d recommend New Orleans Style Daiquiris & More whether you want to chill, hang out and relax or get it on the go.“

The tomato, cucumber, onion salad is the bomb! Picked up the cornbread squash side today also, blown away!! I would never have thought to combine those two, but seriously delicious! “As a truck driver stuck in a parking lot for a night, this was a welcome sight and smell. I got the brisket with two sides. Great portion of brisket served open on a bun in case you want a brisket sandwich. And the sides were great! I'm not from the south but I choose the greens which were amazing and had a kick of heat to them which made it even better.“
“Always stop in whenever I'm in Topeka. The people are nice, the food is good and of course the museum(s)/dealership/clothes/etc are great too. This is a "get it while we got it cuz when it's gone, it's gone" kind of place. The ribs are always tender and just fall right off the bone and I can never say no to the cheesytaters.“
“I ordered catering from Hog Wild in Topeka today. I’d never been there. I needed food for 30 hungry guys at my office. I’m wildly impressed!! From the gentleman taking our order, to the staff that loaded it all in my vehicle…A++!! Everything was PERFECT! Wonderful service!!! Excellent food!! A real crowd pleaser! “It could have been 5 stars and I hope our next visit is. We arrived before the dinner rush but were set in a small section next to the bar....the table above us could look down at our table and so close we could each hear every word said. Just had hoped for more privacy. The ribeye meal was excellent and the chocolate dessert was even better. We had good service and the biggest fail was the appetizer we ordered was not brought out and when the meal came the server blamed it on the kitchen staff not preparing the appetizer or bringing it to us. Fingers crossed next visit we will get that appetizer!“

“I rarely give out 5 stars but this place has earned it, I got the cup of heaven and all the meat was done perfectly. The baked beans were probably my favorite next to the “world famous “ potatoes, definitely eat here if you want some good BBQ.“
