“I came here with my parents and partner about a month ago. The experience was just lovely, amazing coffee and service. We tried a molasses cookie, which was soooo good. 5 stars across the board, overall best café I've been to in Topeka.“
“Found a latte I love from Milk & Honey recently and I no longer enjoy Starbucks because my iced latte here is so much better! Also really enjoy that it’s close to my home, local and the staff is always super friendly. They have punch cards for buying drinks so you get a free one every 10th purchase!“
“I should of stated that I have been to multiple coffee shops in town, most are the same price some more. I just can no longer justify buying my coffee from coffee shops anymore. I will pay $11.00 for a 3 lb coffee and make it at home.Good coffee, outrageous prices!“
“Coffee was delicious and all the workers were so great. Kaleigh was especially kind. The way she interacted with the workers and customers was truly special.Kid-friendliness: A large assortment of games, books and kid friendly items to keep them entertained.“
“Great variety of light food and coffee options with different dairy selections like oatmeal, skim milk and more. Nice and clean environment with games and other things for entertainment for adults and children. They have a separate room for meetings, group reunions, crafters, etc to schedule to be used when this place is opened (with no extra cost as long as people place orders). They even have greeting hand made cards and small little gifts to buy like earrings.“
“Very nice....quiet and relaxed.service was good and the food was excellent. This was our first visit...we were not disappointed. I had the Reuben...tasty ..just right for texture and taste. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich with potato salad...both were excellent.“
“"The small, cozy coffee place offers a wide variety of options, including bubble tea. I tried their latte and breakfast burrito. The coffee was well-balanced and enjoyable, while the burrito was warm but could have used more filling. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."“
“I love this place, especially since they are giving out their great coffee for free for the whole month of September! The staff is very friendly & upbeat; the building, signage, lawn & insides is beautiful & sparkling! It's a great asset to have on north Topeka Blvd & I'm so glad they decided to build it where an old restaurant was because it needed something new & fresh there for decades! Welcome to North Topeka. SCOOTERS!!! My new happy coffee place!“
“Rachel is the most energetic and friendly person to greet you when you walk in! The drinks a delicious and have tons of flavor as well as health benefits. I liked the drinks so much I didn’t even realize they were healthy!! I’m addicted!!“
“I lived here in 2020 for a few months for an internship, and this place became one of my favorite lunch spots. Glad to see that four years later when I moved here for a full-time job, the place is still up and running. My favorite is the William Byrd and their pasta salad. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere as well!“
“Juli’s is a delightful and snug café. They provide a variety of flavored lattes, and I particularly like their "house coffee in a mug" choice, which includes a free coffee refill. The spacious seating here also made it a great place for working long hours.“
“Food is absolutely delicious! It's healthy, size proportions (I had leftovers) and better for you than fast-greasy food. Service is friendly and very knowledgeable of their menu. Ambiance: very welcoming plus the noise level was perfect.“
“Several times, we tried to order ahead, and that was unavailable. We would prefer a place that has consistency. Maybe workers are not showing up on time or at all, but you can correct this by hiring others. As for the atmosphere, I would prefer more classic music in the background. We love the coffee, and it's always hot and made to our exact specifications!“
“Great local coffee shop. Crazy strong espressos, affordable prices and much better than the chains. It is the only locally owned coffee and smoothie shop north of the river so we want to support local whenever possible. They are also extremely fast and friendly.“
“Bought many books for very cheap prices.I bought hard-cover books which was more than $15 but it was $3.50 for 1 hard cover book. Had some good books which I've readThe Garden Of Game Master Place"My name is Ralph"There was a pause in the group.Ralph! The group busted out in laughterHey, that's not nice, said Ralph. We call him RPG.Part 24,So the Komrch's Kreel Dragon army was coming up but Ralph had originally named his character "Duncan the great master"There was another pause in the groupRalph! Ralph! Ralph!“
“I tried Paradise after they first opened years ago and wasn’t impressed. Recently, a coworker brought in some doughnuts from Paradise and I was pleasantly surprised. These are probably the best doughnuts in town! The downside is their hours are limited and they get picked over early (otherwise 5 stars). I like the chocolate frosted doughnuts and sausage rolls.“
“We love this place. I recommend going as early as possible to get pastries while they are warm and before they run out! The selection varies from day to day- apricot, chocolate, strawberry, ham and cheese, etc. Sometimes you can buy yesterday's pastry at a discount. (But they don't reheat well and are best fresh!) Dine in is not an option, unfortunately.“
“Great local business to visit for a cup of coffee or your favorite cafinated desire and other beverages. Warm cozy, friendly atmosphere, awesome customer service. Small businesses are what helped this country thrive, stop on by, and support a small local business in the Topeka area. I am looking forward to my next visit when I am in town!“
“I'm here every morning before work I normally get something hot with an extra shot ? of expresso ? & my little one gets an kids smoothie ?they are faster and better than Starbucks my opinion! ? thanks Scooters!Kid-friendliness: I normally get a strawberry and banana kids smoothie depending on who's working if the will make it or not as it's not on their menu ?“
“Great food and amazing service! Mike Malloy, the owner, is very courteous and really goes the extra mile for the customer. He's also very easy to get ahold of and is quick to respond to any questions or concerns a customer may have. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!Vegetarian options: Amazing salad bar!“
“Loved the acoustic guitar playing of bluegrass, folk & ole 60s, 70s & 80s music, with guitars, mandolin & singing, along with the great harmonies of Kurt.& Doug Saturday, March 3rd at the Classic Bean Fairlawn location. It's always special to visit there, to enjoy the live musical talents of many artists that come to share. I loved the basic drip brewed coffee I ordered, along with a delicious home-baked type chunky chocolate chip cookie. The friends there & the conversations were especially nice too. Thanks to the staff & owners of The Bean!!“
“Finally tried this place since it had been recommended by so many people. I’m so grateful they offer gluten free options. This morning I tried their gf apricot bites (protein ball) and a gf oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. They were both delicious as was my iced mocha! I will be back!“
