Travel into Wichita several times a year and stay at the Candlewood next door. George the bartender is very personable and the food is always great. My favorite are the chicken melt, big nasty pizza and the quesadilla. Don't let negative reviews keep you away. It's a local favorite but great for business traveler's.
We stopped in on a Tuesday evening. The place was quiet and nice. I ordered a hamburger plus fries and my wife had a chicken salad. Both were excellent and the beer was nice and cold. Very nice place to go for dinner.

Kid-friendliness: We were there at 4 pm on a Sunday and my party had 2 kids with in it and when we got there I saw 3 other kids there with their families. My kids had fun watching the game on so many tvs and the waitress was super great
