Food was good and tasted fresh. My eggs on my eggs Benedict we're cooked perfectly (over easy) the ham was a bit tough and definitely could've used some more hollandaise sauce. The bacon was more crispy than I would've liked it to be. Sausage links and French toast we're great and so we're the hash browns. Server was friendly and fast but we didn't see her again after we got our food.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options if you're on a diet.
The server Kiara was wonderful, no fake flirting for a big tip, just a natural kindness and exceptional knowledge of the menu. She is the only reason that Village Inn gets 4 stars, a good example of professionalism which seems to have died out with wearing pajamas to job interviews.The kitchen brought the rating down considerably. The service was excellent. Our food was overcooked and not very hot. We almost didn't stay after a male employee, standing at the register, had a continued cough, which he wasn't covering.
