“Enjoyed food and sevice.Would recommend that the lady working the front end be rewarded from owner for the great work she did for all in the store and drive up window. I can't imagine a person who could have performed at her level. The kitchen staff also did great on their side.“

“If you are in the mood for BBQ of any kind, do not pass Pig Candy BBQ by. In fact, you should go out of your way to go to Pig Candy BBQ. (we went to the Kellogg Ave location) It was EXCELLENT. We had the Potato Bomb which is a huge baked potato with your choice of meat on it. I had the brisket on it. The brisket was so tender and so tasty. The sides of chili, cheddar grits and cole slaw were just as good. My wife had the BBQ meat quesadilla and of course EXCELLENT. Dominick took our order and was so pleasant and patient. He gave us all the info we needed about each dish as we took our time looking at the huge menu on the wall. Then when we were eating, he came by not once, not twice but 3 times to see how we were doing. When Patrick brought our food out, it was with a smile. Seating was comfortable with padded chairs inside (some). They have an outside porch area but a bit to chilly and rainy to go out there. BTW...my friend who needs to eat gluten-free was ecstatic about this new place he could go to.“

“We were traveling from Louisville KY to home in Akron Ohio. We were craving some bbq! We found Beards and Belly and went to check it out. We were so happy we did! Food was AMAZING!! Their recipe for greens, potato salad and pickle salad were the best we’ve ever had!! BBQ was AMAZING! Brisket, pork belly and sausage! It was definitely finger licking good!! The atmosphere and the jolly bearded guys were so friendly too!We will be back!“

“I have been staying at The Phelps for business. I frequently get in late, and quite frankly do not feel like going out. The Phelps Bar is the perfect solution. I have been staying at The Phelps Hotel on and off for roughly a month so far. I have had most of their menu items and have yet to have one that has not been excellent. They recently changed their food and drink menu, so there are many new items to try. They have an outstanding "Signature Drink" Menu. My favorite is the Fig & Rosemary Old Fashioned that is hands down the very best Old Fashioned I have had anywhere, and that includes The Greenbrier Resort. The staff are all amazing and help to make the experience even better. My hat is off to Mark (I think he is the manager), Kat and Tynisa who run the bar, and David the cook. If you find yourself in the Downtown Cincinnati area close to the stadiums, then you really should try The Phelps Bar. You will not be disappointed.“

“Really fun place...dancing, music by Iconx ( one of the best in the area! Book EARLY! ) Never ate, but the service had to struggle a bit because of the huge crowd ( ICONIX is loved ).Parking: You pretty much have to park on the street, so the earlier you get there, the better...“

“We shared the city sampler, which came with 4 meats, 2 sides and 2 garlic toast. Ordered extra Mac and cheese for the kiddos as well as fries and cornbread. Everything was super delicious! They give big portions, we ordered way too much. First time being here and I would highly recommend it! I also enjoyed the different BBQ sauces they had set out.“
