“Pinky's was great. Friendly familiar faces who actually care about what they are cooking and serving. All of the food was great and we had enough for leftovers which is always my favorite. If you need a colossal pancake, this would be the place for that! Glad to have somewhere good to eat close to home.“

“I like eating there and it's great place. The only problem is is when I try to order my food and I just say I would like to have a chicken bacon ranch just the sandwich. The person on the headset says do you want fries with that I'm like I just said just the sandwich. I don't understand why they don't understand what I'm saying. It always have to ask if I still want fries. If I wanted fries I would say with fries. That's the biggest complaint about that particular gold star and also, if I order bacon like two strips of bacon I should have two full strips of bacon. Not one and a half slices of bacon to another words. I'm getting ripped off on my bacon when I go there. Not cool.“

“Oh, it's nice enough - there's a fun play area for kids, some indoor space and some outdoor seating if it's nice. There is a drive through, but when I ordered, I was directed to come around to the front to wait for my food. My nachos were ok, a little too much salsa for my preference, and well covered with everything, but I wouldn't get them again. I think it's mostly known as an ice cream spot, which they serve the Hershey's brand.I think the biggest draw is that they have a lot of choices - not only ice cream but floats and ices and sudaes and burgers and bbq. Definitely some fun options here, but not super high quality.“

“We are on a Coney tour, Empress was the first stop.it was a huge Delhi chilli spot when I was young. we went to Alexandria for empress chili for the tour and it was amazing, Steve was amazing and the staff was A + thanks for putting up with us.?“

“Password protected WiFi is great and far reaching. However it is the most unreliable place I have ever been when it comes to having what they claim on the menu. And sometimes they close up early if people go home earlier than posted hours.“

“Stopped on our way from Ohio to Nashville. Quaint little place. Friendly staff food was very good. Had the Burrata which was some toasted baguette pieces with mozzarella and tomato. Also had a Cobb salad and the special sandwich which was a toasted sandwich and cream of mushroom soup. Overall a very tasty stop.“

“First time here, stopped in for lunch on a whim. Me server was fantastic! Opted for a classic cheeseburger served with seasoned waffle fries. Very good. Cheeseburger was really good. Waffle fries were slightly overcooked for me but still yummy. Sweat tea was Devine! Would definitely stop back on for another visit soon.“

“Not much to say. Just burger perfection. Nothing fancy about any of it. Its a dive in the best sense of the word. Just meat, cheese, soft bun, onion and pickle (I add little ketchup and mustard on bottom). Thats it!!! Nothing else needed. I will make the 40 min drive again for sure.“

“We booked the upstairs party room for our family Christmas party. Everything was perfect, hall was decorated and festive! They handled everything. The kitchen manager, Chuck Wilson was amazing! We worked out the menu together and he out did himself. Quality and quantity was outstanding. This guy deserves a raise! All staff members were friendly and helpful. It was a perfect night! “I had a wonderful experience. Our waiter Bobby was outstanding and chef Josh's food was to die for. We even got the best cake for dessert. All in all, beautiful place, great service and wonderful food. Absolutly worth the 45 min drive for our anniversary dinner.“

“I had the filet, and it was sincerely the best steak I've ever had. I can't tell you the last time I not only finished my plate, but kept saying “ok just one more bite” and henceforth made myself miserable because it was so good. “O'Bryons is the epitome neighborhood bar and restaurant in Newport. Service is courteous, friendly and timely. The bartender is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Food is above average while being prepared well and fresh. The chicken wrap and chicken wings were tasty. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is a bit of a challenge with it all being street parking. Overall a good experience and worth trying out.“

“Tried Lana's Diner for the first time. Time of our visit came just after their lunch rush. It was obvious they had been busy and at the moment of our arrival, there was only one server waiting tables. While there was a little wait, it was understandable why. The one server, though overwhelmed, did not allow the circumstance to rattle her or keep her from pushing on to take care of customers. I was impressed by how she worked her job without letting her job work her. Her attitude remained polite and helpful to those she was serving. Food was very good and was presented as quickly as was reasonably possible. It was good service considering the circumstance. I give Lana's 5 Stars We will be back!! “Very interesting restaurant with great decor. Most of the food we ordered was delicious and came out quick and hot even being a busy evening. Very skimpy on the bacon on the double decker BLT (only 4 slices on the entire sandwich but taking out the middle bread made it normal lol..) the bread was buttered and grilled which was way better than toast in my opinion.. Mac and cheese bites, onion rings, cheese sticks, corn dog bites, and pretzel bites were all "store" bought (not homemade) but delicious and of great quality! I have a pet peace on microwaved soft pretzels because they are gummy and get hard too quick but these were not!! I'm sure they are baked and seemed to have butter drizzle with the salt and were fantastic!! boneless wings were big in size and they definitely aren't stingy with the sauce, which was a plus! Buffalo chips (Saratoga chips) have no spice on them but are handmade and good regardless.. service was mediocre (no asking if food was good, finally saw the empty glass and grabbed on passing for a refill, had to get her attention and ask for the check) but it was busy and everything was fine besides needing a refill.. temperature inside was super chilly so bring a jacket! Seemed to have a large variety of alcohol which is a plus to anyone who drinks I'm sure! Very loud atmosphere but that's expected in a wing place! Very reasonable pricing! “We had crab corn chowder soup and the fried cheese is a mazing with a light beer battered provolone. Must have and are made to order. And let me tell you something. I've lived in NYC, Texas and been many places and I love good food. It was the burgers that made me put them on the must try and they knocked it out of the park. Nice big and juicy burgers with great flavor. Best burger I've had in Ohio! Will definitely be back!“

“We had such a delightful time for Valentine’s Day 2023, we returned again for VD 2024. Once again, the food and service was outstanding as were all the VD touches. “I was in awe when I walked in this place. It gave sexy, swanky, posh. I felt like I was in New York City on a rooftop and not Covington. The ambiance got me!! everything about this place turned out great, from the drinks to the food. You have to try the roasted chicken. Amazing. The cauliflower was amazing. “Went here on a Saturday a little after noon. We were seated immediately and each person working was super hospitable and welcoming! The atmosphere is friendly and vibrant while still maintaining a upscale (but approachable) scene. The menu is limited and rotates for the time of day which makes ordering easy. Everything is super high quality and definitely some of the best food I’ve had in NKY/Cincy!!! Our server, I think her name is Anette, was really great! Our reservation was for 5 pm, we arrived 15 minutes early and were promptly seated just outside an empty private room that they seated 6 people who became very loud! And then seated another group of 4 on our opposite side. I'm checking out this mostly empty restaurant scratching my head and wondering why.“

“Really good food and the Kentucky Mules and spicy Bloody Mary I had were off the charts. We will be back sooner rather then later.Today 2/11/24...On Saturday and Sunday they offer a brunch type that's not on the menu is an omlet meal. You can get and omelet with any of their pizza toppings, tator tots, toast and choice a Bloody Mary or something else to drink. Fantastic.“

“I’ve been coming here for a couple years. It is a gem of a place. You cannot find better food for this price downtown or anywhere else in general. Every member of the team there is very friendly and has nailed customer service. Today I was inspired to write this review because I saw the chef making some French toast. He was treating the motions with so much care, attention, and grace, it was like watching an artist at work. It is clear the people here take pride in their work, and you can taste it. “We went to Dead Low for an engagement party and I was blown away. The bartenders went out of their way to be helpful and kind. The food and the drinks were amazing as well. My family had so much fun and would highly recommend. My children were 2,3 and 5 and coming to Dead Low was one of their favorite parts of our trip to Ohio.“
