“We can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, everything was fantastic. We had the pleasure of having Collin make our cocktails, and his knowledge and passion for what he does were evident with every drink. He took the time to guide us through the menu, and you could tell he truly loves his craft.

As for the food, wow. We honestly don’t know where to begin. We ordered the egg salad sandwich, chicken thighs, cheese platter, and hamachi, and every single dish was outstanding. Each plate was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and left us wanting to try everything else on the menu.

A huge thank you to the entire team for such an incredible experience. We can’t wait to come back!”

“My husband and I visited Bardstown for the first time and stumbled upon Liam Ash, and we are so glad we did! It’s an absolute gem all the way around… Amazing cocktails, beautiful aesthetics, and an extremely knowledgeable, certified bourbon expert bartender named Nicki that not only knew the bourbons, but all the great history behind each one. Sarah, our server, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the chicken wrap, and it was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. “Don't let the view from the outside deceive you. This is a standard tavern with delicious food and friendly service. Loaded hushpuppies are a must and the burgers are off the charts. Will come again if we make our way through here again.”

“Stopped in the other day before a tour at HH. Might have been the best breakfast I ever had. Chicken fried steak was incredible….and those biscuits were fresh and fluffy. If I lived close I might eat there every day. Very friendly and welcoming staff, great atmosphere and decor. I would say its a “must-stop” for anyone visiting the area!”

“I tried this place before but my first time at this particular location. I did not like this place the last time I tried it which had been a couple of years ago. I thought i would give it a second chance . Glad I did the wings was great had the atomic with ghost pepper ranch. It was absolutely awesome. Had the sampler for app the onion rings was good pickles was ok and the mozzarella sticks was ok. The girl that served us was not the best In The world. She was friendly. But a little slow on the drinks and was kinda short on A couple of questions we asked. But she was very nice. The visit was good. I would definitely go back.”

“Stopped by this place for lunch and ended up being really impressed. The food tasted fresh, homemade, and honestly way better than I expected for a small local café. Staff were super friendly and patient while explaining a few menu items, which made the experience feel welcoming right away. I grabbed a sandwich and a coffee, and both were really good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was quiet, clean, and relaxing — perfect if you want something quick without dealing with a crowded chain restaurant. You can tell they actually care about quality here. Definitely a hidden gem in Bardstown and I’ll absolutely come back next time I’m nearby.”

“Just left there…….with our to go food. I went inside and looked at the place, very clean even at the condiments table and drink dispenser. Very pleased with that, and our food was good. The young girl was very pleasant and neat in appearance 👍 I will go back.”

“I stayed at the Bourbon Cottage for a weekend getaway with another couple. I absolutely adored my stay. It was within walking distance to so many fun things. Not to mention, the house was incredibly clean, well decorated, and homey. It feels like what Airbnbs wish they could be.

The only downside to this house is that if you go with another couple, there is only one large bed, and two twin beds (plus a pull out couch, but who wants that?).

That being said, I would 100% stay here again. The staff was nice and the check in and out was seamless.”

“A menu with much breakfast and lunch/dinner variety from which to choose. We were there for breakfast. I got the Golden Waffle meal with scrambled eggs, bacon and waffle. Everything was cooked/prepared perfectly. Our waitress was very nice. A place where we will dine again.”
