“This is the best food we have had at a restaurant in years!! Great service—Bobby was very prompt!”

“We have been to Toro twice now in the last week. We loved it the first time. My husband had the burger of the day and I had the ceviche and they were both quite good. The margarita we both had was also very good. We went back the second time and my husband had the Chef's special. It was great! I had the seafood paella and it was just OK. It was very overdone and the mussels on top were so overdone that there was no mussel left. It was totally dried up and no mussel was there. There were five or six and they were all like that. The calamari and other fish in the rice were also very overdone and the rice itself was too done also. The shrimp on top were cooked separately and just right. The dish was also so spicy that after a few bites I could taste little other than spice. I was disappointed in it as everything else was so good. We will for sure be back, but won't have the paella again. I feel like this could be a great restaurant with a bit more skill by the chef, but is very good as is. The people we have had as servers have been excellent.”

Kelan was spot on with his recommendations . We found the wedge and Caesar salads to be delicious. The chicken piccata was superb as was black grouper. “I sometimes eat here at the cafe in the morning for breakfast. It is an awesome buffet in the morning and always great food. Staff is always warm and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone either staying at the hotel, or just wanting to enjoy a great breakfast buffet. Just remember when the hotel is full to realize there will be a wait, but most other times you can get set pretty easily. So, for sure check this place out!”

The staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions for us when we have them. Anytime we have a call in order, it's always ready on time when we arrive for pickup. It's hard to find good helpful staff and great food anywhere anymore and Fuel has managed to aquire both.”

Let me just say — the workers at the Chick-fil-A on Scottsville Road tonight were absolutely amazing! Great service, great attitudes, and awesome personalities. You don’t get that at most restaurants, especially when a big group walks in about 45 minutes before closing. I applaud them tremendously! They had a great team lead as well. But I just tried Meltdown for the first time after hearing about a local ice cream shop in town, and I absolutely love supporting local. But I gotta say, for a milkshake, particularly the cookies n cream shake, it was an excellent milkshake. Blended to perfection so as to not be too thin or too thick. And whatever ice cream they use, it has a great taste. I will definitely be frequenting this place for my summer sweet tooth cravings”

All of our food was hot and tasty. Portion sizes were also reasonable. The patty melts were delicious, my hamburger and fries were good. The onion rings were also good and almost too hot to eat initially. I did have a cement mixer on the way out ... I / we (4) will be back for more.”

The most impressive part was that the service was better than what I’ve had in years at any restaurant. “Amongst the endless challenges that living as a disabled invalid for the past year has posed, getting solid nutrition has been *major* - and I'm so grateful to the Facebook friend who took it upon herself to treat me to The 30 Bird delivery last month! Since she handled everything including the menu selection, I don't know anything about the pricing or what other items are available but I can tell you that everything I tasted was fresh, delicious - and vegetarian (if not vegan). Though I'm not a huge fan of kale, the sweet and tangy kale salad with feta was outstanding. I also enjoyed the vegan chickpea salad with grapes and walnuts which was reminiscent of the chicken salad with grapes that's so popular these days ... Because I get full after a few bites of food, I tried the 3rd dish, a high protein plant-based Buddha bowl, the next day ... Though it was a tad bland for my "Carolina Reaper palate," adding some of my Jamaican Scotch Bonnet pepper sauce & a lil vinegar amped it up to 5 stars. 🔥 Since it was gonna take me at least another day just to finish the salads and ole Buddha, I froze the mixed fruit and brownies for future enjoyment ... And again, though I never saw a menu, based upon everything I tried, I most def recommend The 30 Bird -- especially if you're looking to eat more healthfully or are vegetarian or vegan. 🥰”

“Roosters is a great place for lunch or dinner. The place has a great atmosphere, even when they are busy there's still plenty of room to not feel crowded. I've taken my family here a couple times now so I feel I can give a valid review. First of all the food is always great. There are so many options to choose from everyone is guaranteed to find something they like, Roosters is also kid friendly as well if you have young ones and they have several options for children. The service our very first time was phenomenal, the second time our server was just okay. Overall I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven't been yet.”

I guess I never had any overwhelming desire to try Overtime but I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! Place is much larger inside than it looks from outside and has a gaming area with pool tables and video gaming. Has your standard bar and separate eating area. Was a bit confused at who would be my server but eventually the bar tender came from behind the bar to my table that was not super close to the bar and took my order who was very nice. Food menu has a host of cheap food options and daily specials that are even cheaper. Tried the meats personal pizza and a beef taco special for 3 bucks. When food came out the pizza looked great and had two large tacos which surprised me for 3 bucks. Pizza was great and was great the next day as leftovers due to being full from the large tacos. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I will go back for drinks next time.”

“Amongst the endless challenges that living as a disabled invalid for the past year has posed, getting solid nutrition has been *major* - and I'm so grateful to the Facebook friend who took it upon herself to treat me to The 30 Bird delivery last month! Since she handled everything including the menu selection, I don't know anything about the pricing or what other items are available but I can tell you that everything I tasted was fresh, delicious - and vegetarian (if not vegan). Though I'm not a huge fan of kale, the sweet and tangy kale salad with feta was outstanding. I also enjoyed the vegan chickpea salad with grapes and walnuts which was reminiscent of the chicken salad with grapes that's so popular these days ... Because I get full after a few bites of food, I tried the 3rd dish, a high protein plant-based Buddha bowl, the next day ... Though it was a tad bland for my "Carolina Reaper palate," adding some of my Jamaican Scotch Bonnet pepper sauce & a lil vinegar amped it up to 5 stars. 🔥 Since it was gonna take me at least another day just to finish the salads and ole Buddha, I froze the mixed fruit and brownies for future enjoyment ... And again, though I never saw a menu, based upon everything I tried, I most def recommend The 30 Bird -- especially if you're looking to eat more healthfully or are vegetarian or vegan. 🥰”

“I went to Jimmy John's on June 15th and there was a very sweet lady and young man working. The young man was working the register and both of them said hello and I walked in. It was my first time in that Jimmy John's, so they waited patiently while I looked over the menu and asked questions about a sandwich. “It has a renovated appearance so it has a more modern vibe.
It has all the normal things you'd expect in a hotel. The reception was alright.
The thing that would make me choose a different hotel was that my room faced the back of the hotel and the smoking/sitting area was beneath my room and people were naturally chatting, watching something loud on their phones..... And I could hear it all with the sliding door closed. I find the people weren't being excessively loud.... It's just a bad setup of how noise travels to rooms in that area.
I didn't try the pool, gym, breakfast or bar so no comment on those. Like the other hotels in this block the bonus is that you can walk across the parking lot and access restaurants which is a pleasant feature. I've stayed here multiple times and I'd say it's quite satisfactory and clean. No hesitation to come again

Even though it was supposed to be contactless delivery I was asked to sign a receipt…. No big deal, just out of the ordinary. Then he got angry and asked “no tip for coming all the way out here!” I was under the impression that a tip had already been set up, apparently not. I went inside to give my last $7 to give him. I will continue order from Papa Johns but it wouldn’t make me sad at all if he was never sent to our house anymore.”
