“Reasonably priced and good portions. I love the family atmosphere. The service and food is world class. Whenever they start serving breakfast my family and I will be there.Kid-friendliness: When observing the staff, they are especially sweet to children-love it”
“Their coffee, ambiance, service and hospitality are definitely top notch. They know my coffee when I approach the register which adds that sense of caring and comfort…. I give them a 5 with ease! Check them out and enjoy!Parking: I never had a problem getting a parking spot during mornings.”
“I literally order so much from here!! The shrimp is amazing, well everything is. Very polite staff, owners I assume, but just go. It’s by far the best I’ve eaten in ”
“We took our family there to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday. Everybody went above and beyond beginning with Logan, who took my call and assisted me with making a last minute reservation. We got there half and hour earlier than scheduled and yet did not have to wait, and they acted like they were fully ready for us. Top notch service! I cannot remember the name of our server, but he definitely added up to our experience. I had an Espresso Martini, which was a bit too sweet for my taste. As for lunch, we had: crab cakes, burger, shrimp and grits, lamb chops, and the pork chop. We all agreed food was simply spectacular. Meats were cooked as ordered (medium rare and well done), shrimp and grits were absolutely to die for -I DON’T like grits, but I will come back to have these, so yummy!- and crab cakes and the burger were also perfect.Totally recommend Cooper and Oak, even of you don’t live in Danville. The place is worth the trip!!”
“My absolute favorite coffee shop in all of the Lexington area! Cozy, warm atmosphere with welcoming staff. The coffee is delicious! I love the lattes, especially the house made gingerbread latte around Christmas time.”
“Natalie's Cafe is a local treasure! They have homemade food that always hits just right! We enjoy stopping by for their amazing breakfasts. Highly recommend stopping by, great people and environment!”
“Being new to Danville, First time trying this place. Mmm that first bite of the country Jack sandwich. ? Monday-Friday lunch hours. So if you’re in the area definitely try it out!”
“The bartender, Will, was amazing and as busy as he was, found time to chat with us and other customers. Food was very good and so was the drinks. Highly recommend this place.”
“We have been going to other Mexican places in the area for a while but we took a chance Las Margaritas on a Monday night to see if it was any good. Long story short, food was amazing and our server was very friendly. We will be going back very soon!”
“Such a good poke bowl!!! Happy to see Danville has this. I had the rodeo poke bowl and it has the perfect amount of spice and savory flavor. Definitely coming back! Thank you!”
“We moved to Harrodsburg in 2018 and this was our first time trying Granny’s diner. The food was absolutely delicious!l and the portions were a lot more than we were expecting! Closest little locally owned establishment that resembles other establishments in our hometown back in hazard. 10/10 we will be eating here again!”
“Parking: Parking is close to the entrance of Old Owl Tavern.Kid-friendliness: Mostly adults but not children restricted.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Easy entry to the Old Owl Tavern.”
“Main 2 complaints are how little seating is in the bar area for events, but I don't think anything can be done about that, just a small building. Restrooms always seem to be clean, and there's always cute/funny drawings and phrases on the stall. The other complaint is how most the seats at the tables in the bar area don't have backs. I have a bad back and it's terrible to sit in them very long.Parking: Not many spots to park, and they are all on the side of the street. Unless they have a parking lot that I've never seen.”
“I have been here several times now. It's a renowned bakery for a reason! Staff is so friendly and a TON of options. Highly recommend for fulfilling your sweet ”
“Bricks and Brews serves American, Indian and Tex Mex, which is quite a wide range of cultural food experiences. It is a small sports bar with a few tables and is a good place for a quick bite in downtown Danville, which is a college town. Even on a Sunday afternoon it was noisy; but, not intolerabley so. I tried the Bombay Shrimp and it was good, the shrimp was nicely cooked and the portion was generous. My lunch companion had the fish sandwich with fries and she said it was very good. I snitched a few fries and they were cooked just right. The server was very pleasant and helpful. It's not fancy but it is good.”
“Best new thing to harrodsburg and not expensive I recommend for anyone to cool down in harrodsburg KY and anyone traveling the bypass take the Corning exit and it's about a mile down on the left just after the train tracks”
“Had some street tacos there today, they was pretty yummy I've also had the steak quesadilla a few times that's good as well. The price isn't bad I can eat there alone and leave a tip and still come out cheaper than a meal at Wendy's or Dairy Queen. Typical American mexican restaurant, good but nothing special.”
“Our food and service were phenomenal. We had the stuffed mushroom and scallop apps. They were both amazing. The pizza and limoncello chicken were also top notch.”
“El Charro has wonderful food. Don't let the white paper-like stuff on the windows make you think they are closed. The margaritas were very tasty and well made. The salsa was fresh and delicious. The Fajitas Cozumel were abundant and wonderful.”
“Mi pueblo's (#1 (the little blue spot ?) NOT #2 on the bypass) is our #1 choice for restraunt food in Danville, Ky! My personal favorite dish= la mojarra frita ?Parking: Depending on the day, time, or event, It may be difficult to find a close parking area but they have extended and eve a walk down the road is still fine with me, to get the best mexican food in Danville ?Kid-friendliness: My kiddos love it here as much as we do!”
“When you think of a small town diner, good food, friends and strangers alike- you’re likely imagining what the inside of the Red Rooster Cafe looks like. It’s like a scene out of a movie complete with clinking dishes and chatting servers. The food tastes like your momma made it (if she can cook) and the Friday buffet has endless down home Southern classics that will remind you of country days gone by (unless you are city folk, at which point I’d say just come for the experience and see what real food tastes like). Whether you’re on the Bourbon Trail visiting our small town, or live here- it’s a great stop for a tasty bite of chow.”
“we ate here after a Dr appt. I live about an hour away. Great food. Great service. It was so nice to find a well maintained and managed salad bar. Perfect steak. I may come back just for the restaurant but for sure after my next Dr appointment.”
“Was greeted with a warm welcome by staff ordered our drinks and a snack while we were there sit down atmosphere was wonderful and the fun little twist of names on the coffee drinks made it that much more better. I had a Phoebe and it was amazing would highly recommend.”
“Delicious food and coffee. This place is definitely our favorite coffee joint in town! Also the girls are so sweet! They gave my son a little cup of whip cream and sprinkles for free and it was the kindest thing!”
“Great food! The owner makes some of the best cocktails I've ever had, especially in Danville. Upscale casual, always a great movie playing. Highly recommend.”
“Not only are Terrence and his family great people but they make the best Chinese food in central Kentucky!! Seriously, I haven’t had any better Chinese food in and around Lexington. We are very blessed to have such a great restaurant in our community. We eat there at least once a week and haven’t had a bad dish yet. Everything is made fresh daily by people that care. You can tell that this family run restaurant puts their heart and sole into their food. Why wouldn’t you want to support people like that. Thank you very much Great Wall!! You are the best.”
“My husband and I just ate here, Saturday night @7 for the first time! Nice open atmosphere, good service and damn good burgers! The mushroom smoked Swiss burger and The Farmers cheeseburger are definitely good! Best “Home style” burgers I’ve had in a minute!Kid-friendliness: Has a decent variety of kid meal options and on the menu it states “Buy 1 adult entree, Get 1 kid’s Entree FREE!” Which is really nice!”
“We are new to Harrodsburg and have tried several restaurants in town but have quickly decided that LaFonda is our favorite! The food (get the guacamole !) is always delicious & cooked to order (have an unusual allergy ?), hot and ready in minutes. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The drinks are spot on and your glass is never empty.”
“The restaurant was clean. The service suberp, we enjoyed the outside patio and glad they had ceiling fans it helped with the heat and the flies. The food was delicious. I had 3 bbq sliders with fries and slaw. My husband had the side salad with a bunless cheeseburger sandwich. Both were served hot and tasty. We didn't find many local places to eat downtown and enjoyed this one ! Oh my we also had the homemade banana ice cream, yummy”
“stopped in today and had some of their delicious burgers and milkshakes and to say the least it was some of the best I've ever had, can't wait to be back again thank you so much for the great food and great experience”
