“My husband and I are down from Cincinnati for a quick visit and were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this cafe is!! We are so excited for them and their success in Burnside! Great addition for a quick breakfast or a fresh deli meal!! Congrats!!”
“Went through the drive thur it was our first time going and we did wait 45 mins for our milkshakes. But when the lady brought them out to us apologized and said they ran out of icecream. That definitely explained the wait.. the milkshakes were great. Would recommend their milkshakes to anyone”
“We love this restaurant! The food and service are always excellent!Vegetarian options: Our daughter doesn’t eat meat and always has options when we eat here.Kid-friendliness: Staff are always kind and accommodating to our children (ages 7 and 4).”
“A very nice experience! Lunch menu had good selection. Crab appetizer sauce and fresh lump crabmeat was just delicious. Our fish sandwich was one of the best we have ever had and that includes Florida trips. Beautiful venue, great service, and quality food have us talking about what we will order on our next visit.”
“My wife and I had the smoked meatloaf sandwich meal. Ate in the car but it was one of the best lunches we've had. Nice people too. Jabez keeps getting better.”
“Hubby and I celebrated a recent move to town with a bottle of wine (a Spanish red blend), which was lovely for $25. We shared the Bourbon Sriracha wings. They could have been my most favorite wings ever.We also shared the ribeye steak and a house salad with "warm bacon vinegar" dressing. The steak was perfectly charred- go figure! The char added a wonderful flavor. The salad was awesome. I would recommend all 3 dishes and the wine. Our server (Josh, I think) was great. The restaurant looks new and has fun decor. We sat at a high top at the bar.”
“I visited this Sonny’s a couple of days ago the food was great! I came in contact with Sandy, I must say she was one of the best and made my visit very pleasant!”
“Gives you family owner vibe from the sign to the inside. The name "Master Doughnut" is very fitting because they make simple doughnuts great! They're very light and fluffy. They put just enough icing on them. I personally wouldn't mind more but it's definitely enough. One cool thing is if you want a filled doughnut, they fill them with whatever you want when you order them. They had white icing, custard, lemon, raspberry, chocolate and maybe one more. Blueberry cake 9.5/10Strawberry iced 9/10Chocolate iced 8/10Doughnut holes 7/10Cookies and cream cookie 9/10Small spot with lots of options. Not only do they have doughnuts but they have breakfast sandwiches and coffee too. I'll be back to try more!”
“Came in at 3:00 closing time just to be sure that the hours weren’t wrong on Google Maps. The host was friendly and welcoming, inviting us in despite the time, since he still had food on the buffet. It was not fresh, which could be expected, but was still warm enough and very tasty. The host explained to us what everything was on the buffet, and brought out fresh naan and chai to the table. An excellent experience. I will be coming back again, probably quite often in the future. It’s probably been ten years since I have had genuine Indian food.Vegetarian options: At the buffet, I asked the host which options were meatless and he was glad to explain what each dish was and what it contained. I couldn’t tell you the names of the meatless dishes but the host should be willing to help.”
“First time Baxter's customer, from South Florida. I was in town visiting my daughter in Somerset and she brought me here. Loved the atmosphere. Although there are many, every Baxter's feels different, but you can expect the same great coffee and food. I'm a Dunkin and Starbucks lover, but when I'm in Kentucky, you will find me at Baxter's now. Yum!”
“Everything we had was great. Pizza, wings, fries, etc. Also, we got the order delivered, and they had switched up one of the pizzas. I called and told them over the phone and they quickly righted the wrong by having the ordered pizza delivered separately, hot and fresh, with no charge for the food or delivery. Great service by putting the customer first. Highly recommended!”
“Out of the way, since Nancy. But certainly worth the short drives to and fro. Big fan of the enchiladas rancheros…that pork is something else. Of all the Mexican joints in the county, this one usually comes through, never a poor or bad experience here. No alcohol is served here if that’s important to you.”
“The best ice cream in town with the friendliest service! The scoops are huge. My husband and I love going in and trying their flavors. You cannot go wrong with their strawberry cheesecake.”
“First time visiting this place and honestly nothing negative to say! Food was amazing and we had several people check on us at different times. So many pretty paintings on the wall! I got the daily special salmon Pattie’s were excellent and so was the cabbage!”
“I ordered fajita salad with chicken. My hubby had the Carnival. Four thumbs up for the food. The service was exceptional. The restaurant was casual and very cozy. Check it out!”

Sandwiches are also Delicious!! I Highly Recommend!!!! Before I moved to the area I would drive 20 minutes to get Mill Springs Pizza!!”
“Baxter's is a great locally owned coffee and specialty drink business. They roast their own beans and sell all that world famous shops do at a competitive price and great customer service with a wide variety of choices! Great place to gather for a drink, do some work, be with friends, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee with local atmosphere! Highly recomended!!!”
“My favorite sub shop everywhere I go, and Somerset didn’t disappoint. Very friendly staff, sub made perfectly and they had a pickle bucket that we always buy!! Will definitely go back!”
“The food, the service, and the prices, they can't be beat!! Best Mexican food I've ever had!! A beef taco, Tamale, beef enchilada, bean tostada, chili rellenos, and beans and rice, $13.99!! Unbelievable!!”

“I've been visiting this bakery for a few years now (since their old location down the highway) and I will remain a loyal customer! I'm always willing to try new flavors, and it's no surprise to me when the new flavor is delicious. The owners are super sweet (pun intended!) and accommodating. Not only are the sweets very tasty, but they are well decorated too. I definitely recommend Yellow Bird to anyone with a sweet tooth in Pulaski County”
“The blueberry pastry was very flavorful, light, and airy. I had a hot bourbon carmel cappuccino that had a great taste as well. It could have been hotter, but it took nothing away from Battlefield Coffee. The fact it was established for the Battle of Mill Springs is awesome. A definite place to stop if you're in the area or visiting the battlefield sites.”
“They have the best food!! I've lived in the Southwest and have eaten Mexican food for many years....then I moved East....what a blessing to find this place....Everything I've had so far has been excellent ....yahooooo..Now go get ya some!! I know I will!!!.?”
“Great place to eat. Amazing service. Everyone loved their food. Had no problem seating 7 people. Even in a busy dinner rush, we did have to wait a few to eat but was well worth the wait. I wouldn't recommend the onion rings but the best dish was the steak tips.”
“inside the inconspicuous building the size of a house lies a kitchen full of talented cooks and the most amazing Mexican food i have ever eaten. Delicious, hearty, authentic food for amazing prices. The horchata is also really good!!! Loved this place totally worth it.”
“Absolutely fabulous!!! This was my first time and I absolutely loved it ? the pizza was delicious and perfectly crisp, the atmosphere was wild and fun, and the staff were so wonderful. Can't wait to come back!”
“We go to Guthrie's every once in a while. The food is pricey but usually pretty good. This visit was marginal. It was cold enough in the dining area that we didn't take off our coats. I noticed others that were also bundled up. Our server was clean, polite, and professional but kept wandering off, even though it was not busy at all. We were never offered water or bread and waited long periods between drink refills. My food was delicious - but just not as warm as I like so I asked to have it heated up (I assumed microwaved). The server took my plate to the kitchen and was gone again. My food came back out several minutes later.. and still was not very warm.Parking: They have 2 convenient parking spots reserved for Veterans and I appreciate that.”

“It's nice to finally have a restaurant in Burnside that is operated by someone who knows how to run a restaurant and is sufficiently capitalized to make it work. And even better the food and service are top notch. It's our go-to pizza place now!”
