I like it, the food is pretty good, they're barely open though. You have to go on a stakeout to catch them or whatever. The staff is nice though! It's just a drive thru I think so I'm not sure, they have a hole they need to fix in the drive thru. I don't think there is an inside to it?? But it looks good either way. Ambiance, it's just normal looking. No problem with that though.
I am always a s***** for these vintage 1950s restaurants ( culinary survivors). When I stopped by they had the usual selections all of which was acceptable. The problem my wife and I encountered was that they were out of a lot of their selections. The soft serve icecream machine was broken which was a big disappointment. This place would be a lot better if they were open more hours and maybe scaled back their menu to focus on the basics. When we were last there we enjoyed a car...read full review

I always try to visit when I'm in my home town. It is comfort food to me. Stromboli, theirs is what I compare all other to, is my go to order. Sadly I don't get to eat there that often, my schedule doesn't match their hours of operation. If you are in Campton visiting, I highly recommend the Dixie Freeze.
