I always try to visit when I'm in my home town. It is comfort food to me. Stromboli, theirs is what I compare all other to, is my go to order. Sadly I don't get to eat there that often, my schedule doesn't match their hours of operation. If you are in Campton visiting, I highly recommend the Dixie Freeze.

I like it, the food is pretty good, they're barely open though. You have to go on a stakeout to catch them or whatever. The staff is nice though! It's just a drive thru I think so I'm not sure, they have a hole they need to fix in the drive thru. I don't think there is an inside to it?? But it looks good either way. Ambiance, it's just normal looking. No problem with that though.

I am always a s***** for these vintage 1950s restaurants ( culinary survivors). When I stopped by they had the usual selections all of which was acceptable. The problem my wife and I encountered was that they were out of a lot of their selections. The soft serve icecream machine was broken which was a big disappointment. This place would be a lot better if they were open more hours and maybe scaled back their menu to focus on the basics. When we were last there we enjoyed a car show that had over 50 old cars. The ambiance went well with this 1950s restaurant survivor of a bygone era. I hope they can get the kinks worked out post Covid and rejuvenate this place. I think it has a lot of potential. I look forward to the day I can update my review and give them 5 Stars!

This place had the flurry before the blizzard came along, And when you need a good Burger and a milkshake Or pepper poppers, And chicken strips, This is a place for you. Locally owned For as long as I can remember. If it's pretty out Grab a seat at a picnic table and enjoy the sunshine!

Would've given better review, but the deep fried mushrooms I got had been cooked way too long. They were extremely crunchy and dried up on the inside. The cheeseburger box was extremely good - especially the coleslaw.

This is the best place to eat. There very reasonabley priced and the ppl that work there are friendly. I would recommend this place for sure.

Every time we call to place an order the line is busy, tired for over 45 minutes and couldn't get through today. Last week we called and they placed us on hold for 15 minutes and no one came back to take the order we had to hang up and call again before someone took our order
