“Great breakfast with the family! Wanted to eat somewhere we could all agree upon. It was unanimous for Cracker Barrel. Was it the biscuit and gravy or the pork sausage? Maybe the pancakes, either way we all got what we wanted. Thank you for the hardworking folks that ensure a great meal is served up each and every day.“

I had the fried catfish and it was excellent. My husband had the meatloaf and loved it. What they lack in atmosphere they certainly deliver on good food and country charm. My 3 year old daughter has been going here once a week since she was little to eat breakfast with her great grandparents. The entire staff treat her like a local celebrity every time she walks in. They all know her name, she knows all theirs too. They celebrate her birthday and treat her with so much kindness. I can’t give them enough praise or thank them enough! We had a small order of breaded mushrooms, meal#1 was an 8oz ribeye with side salad & potato, meal #2 was a 10oz new york strip, side salad and crinkle fries. “A buddy of mine and I decided to check out a different restaurant today for lunch while down at Barren River Lake. We drove into Glasgow, KY and stopped in at Fine Arts Bistro on the town square. We arrived around 12:15 p.m. to a nearly full dining room. The building was obviously 100 or so years old and the feel was upbeat and vogue. A section of one of the solid brick walls is exposed revealing the building's age and stately stature.Being a lover of avocados, the Bistro Chicken Avocado Salad beckoned as did the Butternut Squash Soup. The soup was in a puree form and very tasty. The salad not only looked great; it was delicious and the two dishes satisfied my appetite and cravings for heathier food.The service was prompt and very personable. I highly recommend Fine Arts Bistro to anyone traveling through or simply needing to fill a local appetite.Parking: There is free public parking at the rear of the building.“

“Food was hot and delicious the Onion Rings were HUGE and very delicious not greasy like a lot of places and the Drink mug was Gigantic, I did not need a refill. they have a small gameroom in the back of the restaurant. Plenty of seating and the servers were very nice and considerate. you have to stop in and check it out, a great little restaurant hidden at the end of the town. I had the BEST Ham and cheese melt I have ever tasted.Parking: Parking right next to the restaurant“

“First time eating at Colton’s in Glasgow KY. Our service and meal were great. However, the restaurant itself is past due of deep cleaning. Very dirty, sticky and not appetizing. If what I see and touch is like that - makes me wonder just what the kitchen is like.“

“No complaints about our breakfasts - all were good. Waitress (who was also cooking - so maybe that is why) not very pleasant/welcoming. Unfortunately KY doesn’t restrict smoking in restaurants and smoking is allowed in this one. Even at 8:30am, smoke was bad enough to cause all 3 of us to have hurting eyes and clothes that smelled of smoke.“

“Applebee's in Glasgow has been one of my favorite places to eat and hangout for many years. I usually can sit at my favorite seat at the bar and have lunch, dinner, appetizers and drinks with many fun people (customers). I have come to know much of the staff and they treat me as a friend, They seem glad that I have shown up Many times my drink in on the bar before I sit down,I get fast service and servers, managers and bartenders always seem to stop by to say hello even when I am in a different area of the restaurant.I always have a great time when I am here. Good food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere to have a meal and meet up with some friends. Thank you.I will be back, very soon.“
