Sat down and ordered drinks rather quickly. We didn't want the buffet so were perusing the menu. We weren't in a hurry so we're pretty relaxed waiting for Stacie, or server,, to help those who had arrived before us. But, when customers 2 tables in front of us had gotten their drinks and we're eating (because they got the ever popular biffet) we dropped a fiver for the drinks and skedaddled. This place was an unexpected gem. My family of four came in late on a Friday night after visiting the Caves and happily ate our fill of the delicious home cooking. The catfish was extraordinary and the banana pudding was more than up to this Carolina boy's standards. I can not recommend this place enough!

Really good home cooked comfort food. The building and facilities are in some real need of some remodeling help, but the service is great and everything on the buffet is really good. I had the fried catfish and it was excellent. My husband had the meatloaf and loved it. What they lack in atmosphere they certainly deliver on good food and country charm. And you can't beat the price.
