“Not much to say. Just burger perfection. Nothing fancy about any of it. Its a dive in the best sense of the word. Just meat, cheese, soft bun, onion and pickle (I add little ketchup and mustard on bottom). Thats it!!! Nothing else needed. I will make the 40 min drive again for sure.“
“We haven't been to this Frisch's in a while, and we were in for a pleasant surprise. The place was clean and set up perfectly. We had excellent service, and the food was HOT and delicious. We didn't get the salad bar, but it had plenty of food, and we noticed that the salads were freshened several times while we were eating.This was the Frisch's at Kyle's Lane in Ft. Wright-even though the directory calls it Covington. Give this place another try, it has REALLY changed for the better!“
“This is my favorite Dairy Queen location! On summer nights there is usually a line at the drive through, but it moves at a decent pace. Everyone that works there has always been very friendly. The best part about this location is they give a generous amount of toppings in their Blizzards. The summer special, peanut butter puppy chow, was my absolute favorite this summer.“
“It's hard not to like Anchor grill. It's as "local greasy spoon" as it gets, but it has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Sort of if your Mom and a couple of her friends opened a diner, and you stopped in for dinner. The staff are friendly and polite, and the food is surprisingly solid. If I'm in the Midwest, I have to satisfy my breaded, fried pork tenderloin sandwich craving. Theirs is thin but decent, and you can't beat the price. Cash only. Give it a try. The pancakes look great. If you're not a local, be aware many restaurants here allow you to smoke inside, and this is one of them.“
“We have been eating ZOLA BURGERS for years. Our recent visit was incredible because of Desiree, the bartender. Bartenders on that strip usually lack personality, but Desiree was sweet, knowledgeable, and warm. There are dozens of pubs on the strip with glitter and brass, but we will come back to KY for our Zola burgers...and Desiree.“
“This restaurant/ bar is very versatile! Has a variety of draft beer and a good staff. There's games, occasional karaoke and live music, and all around it's a pretty big place! Food is cheaper than most places too. Owner is personable and cares to make relationships with guests!“
“One of the staff thought it'd be 'funny' to try and steal my purse. I was watching the band play and he tried to take my purse from me. He only stopped pulling on my purse when my friend and I yelled at him. He tried to play it off as a joke. I didnt get his name. We left after the incident. This place is not safe for women when staff are behaving like this.“
“The poutine is amazing! Fresh cut fries, cheese curds and homemade beef gravy it's some of the best you'll find in the city. Their Cincy style chili is really good to it's real meaty and kinda spicy! This is a very good neighborhood restaurant and worth the drive if you're within 30 minutes. Oh, their burgers are legendary.“
