Great place for a modern Mexican meal. We had a combination of dishes from Pollo Monterrey and Flautas to firecracker shrimp and Chicharrones. As we enjoyed our drinks the chef came out with a complimentary hors d’oeuvre that he was looking for our input on…It was great!!! Service and atmosphere are excellent.

The waiter was phenomenal and super friendly, he holds the 2 stars this place gets. However, the food, which is overpriced, was basic, bland, drenched in hardered cheese, oily, watery, and the portions were tiny. It looks big because 80% was cheese. Drinks were fine, the location is good, and the atmosphere is okay.

Why does the meat look like it’s boiled? Where is the char or the crust on the meat like seriously. The only good thing I had tonight was the rice and my drink.

Walked a little further than usual today and ended up eating at Zapata. There's a place across the street that's more authentic but the atmosphere there is much less classy. The bar tender was informative and friendly and the food was good enough. I ordered enchiladas. They were filling and had good taste but were doused in sauce, came with less rice than I expected and no refried beans as is customary for this dish. Before the order we shared some white queso dip which was very good! I recommend it for any cheese lovers out there. The beers were good too. Overall I'd definitely recommend it but there are some small improvements they could make.

I waited to do this review, I went over the summer with friends and everything was awful. The server couldn't take a joke, so she ended up not coming back to our table. It was something along the lines of give us good service and you'll get a good tip, not really anything bad. Another guy had apologized for her and then he took over serving us. The food was terrible. Not anything I would recommend. The yucca was limp and is typically served like a French fry. Pork belly tocos wet blubbery and tasted not amazing. I only took one bite. We went to McDonalds on the way home.

Our daughter loves this place so we checked it out tonight. It's part of an evolving great restaurant scene in the Cov. We were greeted by the owner and immediately seated. Great adult beverage menu and the service and food excellent. I had three different tacos; chicken, fish and shrimp. These are small street tacos, and each had its own very delicious taste. My wife had the rice bowl, which she really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place.
