6 Best Craft Breweries near Crestwood

3rd Turn Oldham Gardens Brewery • $$
6300 Old Lagrange Rd, Crestwood

“This place has probably the best ambiance of any bar I’ve been to. Part of the fun is finding all the different drinks available at the different locations! Outdoor seating in what used to be a greenhouse, with fireplaces for colder days, it’s such a nice place just off the beaten path.“

“My friend and I came here after having a late lunch. I will say this location is not quite what we were expecting. All 3 Louisville locations are unique in their own way but, this one takes the cake. It look like a very big 2 story house. Inside which was upstairs was basically a bar area and small seating area. We ordered our beers and ventured downstairs. It doesn't seem like a brewery environment it just seems like a nice restaurant which it isn't. They also have bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. We chilled downstairs and watched some football. There were also board games down there as well. The only difference between this and the other 2 locations is that they don't have a Mozza Pi pizza here. There is the Village Anchor and a bar called the Sea Hag next to the place. Not having a Mozza Pi was a kicker. This is a very beautiful place and it feels like home in a way. Will we be back? Most likely.“

“This place has the chillest and most intelligent vibe in the area. I go here on Tuesdays for the best Trivia Night (Best MC too) of all the trivia nights and places in Louisville...seriously. I've also been here on many other days in the week when you just need a friendly crowd and are more than welcome to talk to anyone. Everyone will welcome you. Now, let's get down to the beer. I'm a hazy ipa guy and the Steephill IPA is in a class all its own. I have been for several months using that as a benchmark for other hazys. They have an awesome collection of sours, lagers, stouts...and they make great Bloody Mary's.You can order food from 5 locations in the area through an app on your phone. They deliver to you in about 15 minutes. You can get pizza, Mexican, American...pretty much about 150 menu items so you're going to find what you want.Just get over to Atrium in Norton Commons and straight up chill. The bartenders rock!“

“Had a great lunch here. We shared a couple of appetizers and a sandwich. The hummus and pita plate was very good. I didn't care for the Italian chopped sub. The bread was soaked and when it came out and the sandwich kinda fell apart and was mushy. Overall, really cute cafe. Definitely visit on a nice day as they have a great patio to enjoy.“

“Their beers seem to get better every year. Big selection, though sadly never seem to have my favorite style: malty lagers like munich, helles, dortmunder dark. I think I have seen a bock or double bock occasionally.Only real negative is the smokers outside under the tent have forced me and my wife to leave a couple times. Smoke makes both of us ill, wish people would be kinder.“
