The bun was toasted just enough to have a slight crunch. Even the tomato slice tasted ripe (not easy to do in February)The fries were above average.We will definitely be visiting Metzgers again! “Rarely do I take the time to “recommend” a restaurant, but my wonderful experience this past Saturday deserved the recognition. Samuel’s is one of my fiancé’s favorite places to dine and for some reason I hadn’t been. Now that I’ve been, we will be making this a regular spot. For appetizers we ordered the truffle fries and the brussel sprouts. They were both cooked to perfection and exploding with flavor. If you liked those items at CKB when it was open, then you’ll love these. For entrees we had the steak and hot chicken sandwich. Both were phenomenal. The menu prices are extremely reasonable. In fact, I think the prices are a tad low given the high quality of the product. If you haven’t checked out this gem, you’re missing out.“

“My man and I have been twice now and I don't know why we don't go more. The food is AMAZING!! Kids liked it too. We have enjoyed several entrees, appetizers, drinks and desserts. the staff and owner are friendly. It is clean. We have enjoyed both dining in and carryout. Only tip is to be cautious on the spicy scale. Even a 3 out of 10 can be pretty spicy. We went last night and I already can't wait to go back!“

If you have something to celebrate, or to cry about, or you just want to sit in silence and scroll on your phone with a nice drink, this is the place for that. It has one of the best bartenders in all Evansville, and in my opinion the best I've ever encountered in this continent. “Took a work colleague here who was visiting from out of town. He is a huge bourbon collector (over 400 bottles in his collection) and was very impressed with the big collection here! There were several bottles he had never seen in person and he enjoyed trying some. Definitely recommend this place if you are a bourbon &/or cigar fan! Great atmosphere and service too!!“
“I’ve been here dozens of times. The food can be hit or miss but no more so than most bars, if anything it is above bar food expectations most of the time. I much prefer the calmer atmosphere here as opposed to the Franklin St atmosphere. The servers are always nice & respectful, drinks are well priced too! Will continue coming “
“Christian provided excellent service and was personable and responsive throughout our meal. We were a group of 8 adults and 7 girl softball players in the patio-like dining room. He was quick, cheerful, and patient. Also, my daughter and I shared the truffle aoili, etc. flatbread and the chopped BLT salad and loved them both. The many burgers at our table looked delicious also. I hope to find another Bar Louie closer to my home in West Michigan. Thank you, Christian!“
“I was told this was a chill place, but there was definitely a lot going on when we went, lol. Crowded and super loud, which was ok, we still enjoyed ourselves and with great company. So, I always get choked up when I am asked what I like to drink because I don't really know, besides something fruity. I told the bartender to make something with strawberry. So he did, and it was amazing! I think I had 5 of these drinks! Excellent staff and group of people. Huge outdoor area for more awesomeness. Hope to return soon!“

Tina has upped the game on catfish nuggets - 20/10 fabulous ?. Tina not only cuts the fresh catfish, she has her own breading that is MORE than fantastic. “Our party had a fantastic time at Birdies, enjoying both the axe throwing and the sports simulator. The food was delicious, although they could ease up on the sugar for the fries and homemade chips. “What an amazing place!!! We had a fun and great time at Someplace else nightclub. The sense of community and joy is felt from the moment you walk in the door. They have a second floor where you can see the show. The night we went they were celebrating a birthday of one of the performers, and the atmosphere was incredible. I came to visit Evansville for a few days, and I can say the best night there was when we went to this nightclub. It felt like the kind of place where everybody knows your name and are happy to welcome anyone!“
“It's an okay bar one of the first bars I have ever visited and actually sat down to have a glass of beer. I went a couple of times I go every blue moon. The best food to get there is their pizza, their pizza is so good it reminds me of a small una's pizza, they used to be about 7.00 but now I think their about 9 I used to get my late night snack "the sausage pizza" a lot without sitting the having a drink or just sitting there, bit i barely bar hop it's just not my thing anymore but i would get they pizza if me and my significant other we agree on it. But it's and alright place to go It won't be that crowded this is one of the bars I recommend and that's just because out of 2 other bars I've been to this one was better than the other 2 I visited.Parking: There is plenty of space to park right outside in front of the bar.“

“We don't get service like this in Illinois - pretty sure the longest I had to wait for a drink was about 30 seconds. Food was great, and being right by the river adds great atmosphere. The dog friendly aspect put the cherry on top since we could let our little guy sit at our feet outside. Y'all rule.“
