“Food is always excellent…a little pricey but the quality & larger portions are well worth the $. They have a covered outdoor dining area as well as spacious indoor seating. They sometimes have live music from local performers which provides an exciting atmosphere. My favorite Cuban Bar & Grill perfect for a night out with dinner, drinks, & fun!”

“Wow, what a great place! My wife and I visited Louisville, and on the recommendation of a local, popped into Mayan Cafe and were completely impressed! The hostess and waitress were extremely nice and even though we came toward the end of the night were very welcoming and never hurried us along. The margarita with mezcal I ordered was perfect, and the dark, romantic room was fun and had a good, buzzy energy. We ordered the sikil pak and both agreed it was the best we've had - great depth of flavor and silky texture, it is a must-try! The scallop ceviche was also great - the scallops were marinated to the perfect texture, the flavors were fresh and bright, and the serving size was generous. My wife ordered the tuna tacos and loved them, raved about them. I ordered the duck with black mole and it was really great - succulent dark duck, confited and served shredded, tasted almost like deeply roasted, juicy pot roast - awesome flavor, but the mole was the star - great compliment to the duck. We split the cochinita pibil and both loved it - the achiote sauce was beautiful to look at and tasted earthy and complex, and the fried plaintains it was served with were nicely tourneed - a cool little touch that added to the fancy vibes of the meal. Even though it is certainly gourmet-level and very interesting food and a great way to experience a different kind of "Mexican" cuisine, and the dishes are crafted with love and look great on the plate, the prices were very fair and not too expensive. We loved Louisville, plan to visit more often, and will definitely be back to Mayan Cafe (to hopefully try the rabbit next time!). Highly recommended.”

“Very nice place and food was excellent. Service was very professional, friendly and excellent ?. Could not complain about the food or the service, perfect! It was a bit loud inside the restaurant, customers and music, mainly customers just very loud..Parking: Absolutely no parking when we went so we had to park at the hotel next door, which cost $16 for 2 hours.”

“Great service. Shoutout to our server Brittany (hope I’m spelling it right). Cannot recommend the chicken empanadas enough. They are AMAZING. The bacon wrapped chorizo skewers are out of this world too! Shoutout Noel the bartender!!!! Drinks were great! I got the Mezcal old fashion, highly recommend. Girlfriend got the raspberry mojito and it was really refreshing. For dinner, girlfriend got the chicken and queso, I got the Vaca Frita, shredded steak with veggies, black beans, and rice. I cannot say enough about how good the food, drinks, and atmosphere are here. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.Parking: Hardly any parking, but this is not Havana Rumba’s fault. It’s a very busy area. You will have to find street parking around the local neighborhood which will likely require a small walk.”

“I was here this evening for dinner with friends. We had a great meal, great drinks, and our server was friendly and attentive. The only problem was the dessert which I ordered; sopapillas. These are traditional New Mexican soft, fried, puffed dough pockets, drizzled with honey or covered in cinnamon and sugar. Think small soft donuts. Well, what I got was a hard, flat, fried tortilla, cut into quarters, and covered in cinnamon and sugar. That is NOT any kind of a sopapilla I have ever had at any Mexican restaurant before. It was awful. When I told the server my thoughts on what was served, she argued with me that this was indeed sopapillas. Right. My advise; do not order this usually delightful dessert at Tres Amigos, because you'll get something other than true sopapillas!”

“Great French toast, biscuits and gravy! Where else can you have a Belgian Quad from the tap while you wait also? This was the part of the restaurant that is open 9am till 2pm. There is always a wait on the weekends but worth it.”

“More than I was expecting! As you walk in the doors you are greeted by one of the friendly staff. The showroom has everything a Mitchers fan could ask for: shirts, coasters, books, and of course many of their Bourbon selections. It was a 15-20 min wait to get up to the bar. The host was very polite. When it was my time, the elevator opened as she called me and she said “your chariot has arrived” made me smile. As I came off the elevator I was greeted by Georgia and she showed me my seat at the bar. A glass of water and an assortment of snacks was waiting. The snacks were small pretzel balls, dried bananas, and crunchy quicos. The crunchy quicos (corn nuts) are a must try(see sticker). The first drink I ordered was the Falls of the O-H-I-O Fizz. It was delicious! Frothy due to the egg white, with a little touch of sweet, and gentle burn from the bourbon. The second drink I ordered was the Fort Nelson Crusta. The presentation was beautiful. There’s a whole lot of sweet in this one. The sugar brim was the icing on the cake. Georgias service was outstanding, I can’t say enough. Her and her team are experts at their craft. The setting is very warm and down home. I highly recommend this place if you’re single or on a date. Georgia and her staff will make you feel at home. I’ll be back.”
“A great addition to NULU!I went to Cherry Pickin’ for the first time today and am already looking forward to going back. Sydney the owner was great- as was the staff! They gave me some samples of juices to try and I ultimately decided on the Cherry Picker (it was delicious). As someone who works in NULU and often looks for healthy lunch options, I was excited to learn that they also offer a variety of toasts along with their juices, smoothies and bowls. I’m happy to have their business in the neighborhood and can’t wait to try more of their menu!”

“Vegan Empanadas!! My husband and I were in Louisville overnight, and finding good vegan breakfast options can be tricky. We've been vegan for 10 years and this was the best breakfast dish we've had. Truly delicious. And the service was fantastic! Thanks for having a killer plant-based offering!!”

“Literally the best Bob place I’ve ever been to. The prices and portion sizes have stayed consistent! I can’t afford boba often if I go other places but here I can justify going once a week or so. The owners are so kind and helpful, as is their staff. Every single tea or dessert item I’ve had has been perfect. The shop is cute and they’re service dog friendly! I’ve had access issues with other boba places but never here.”

“We were out on the lovely patio, a little more quiet. The Chef/Owner was very thoughtful and stopped by our table. The food was excellent—one of our best meals since moving from Dallas to Knoxville. We are going back multiple times.”

“Stopped by to try Kupbop out today and lunch and wow, was it good. I normally wouldn't have very high expectations for a spot in the mall, but this place is definitely not to be missed. I'm a huge fan of Korean food, but have never had one of their hotdogs, so I had to give it a try. It was absolutely stellar! I'm a fan for life! Their chicken dish was also very good. Repeat customer for sure.”

“I have recently discovered the different lemonades that they make, and wow they are so good! They had a blueberry lemonade recently that was amazing! I just got the peach, and was not disappointed. I also ordered the 1/2 pound sandwich, and it was so much bigger than I thought. Certainly enough for two meals!”
