Decca Restaurant

It's sad for Louisville that Decca has decided to close. Decca has consistently provided excellent meals and service each time I've visited and I wish I frequented the restaurant more often while they were open. I enjoyed the marble potatoes, octopus and pork cavatelli on my last visit. They were all cooked and seasoned perfectly. I am so sad that Decca is closing. The food was absolutely incredible, as was the service. My friends and I split two different pasta dishes and the burger. Everything was delicious! The portions are not large for the price, but the flavor is so amazing! The outdoor patio is beautiful and our server was so knowledgeable!!

Overall it was a good meal but not sure I would go back. Everything is individually plated so to have a well rounded meal you need several plates. The quality is amazing, it can just add up. Our waitress was lovely. On the other hand the bartender who greeted us as we came in looked irritated we were there and the pour on our drinks was very meager. For a $15 cocktail I would have expected a little more.
