This was the best pie any of us had ever had. Even the ice cream was amazing. We tried the rhubarb, lemon merengue, and chess pie. Everything was amazing!! The workers were so patient with us when we ordered 6 different slices of pie and ice cream an hour before closing. Must try!!

This location is like walking into a blast from the past. The interior is comfy and cozy looking. The staff is super friendly and the pies they make tasted spectacular. I can't wait to come back with my kids. It is a great site down shop that can 100% satisfy your sweet tooth craving.

I first went to Homemade Ice Cream & Pies in 2000. It was really good then and remains good now. Ice cream, cake, pie and a comfortable place to sit and visit. I no longer live in Louisville but make sure to get some dessert during my trip home.

Came to a familiar place that I haven't been to in a while. First thing I noticed right away was the signage that listed all the items for sale. We ordered individual cakes, ice creams, and more. My items were good except the almond coconut ice cream that appeal to me next time will ask for a sample before buying. The next thing I noticed that this place had little customers it used to be very busy. Maybe the heavy rain and cold kept people away. The service was excellent and will return once more. Their private parking has plenty of spaces to park.
Revised down to 1 star. Two thanksgiving's in a row with an inedible very undercooked pie. If you like your pastry with a soggy bottom and no colour, then I guess this is for you.

Walked right in, and placed an order to be picked up later in the week. Service was fast and restaurant was clean. My order was picked up a few days later and was delicious. You need to get a better way to keep orders for pies for the holidays. We paid for 2 pies in advance last Friday to be picked up today and they said they only had one written down which I watched the girl write both down on the paper myself last Friday. We had to buy the second pie again. Another 27 dollars. I'm sure we aren't the only ones this has happened to. Having a notebook with scribble on it is not a very professional way to handle big holiday orders. Our order was messed up last year because they wrote our name down wrong.
