“Wow, we went for our daughter's birthday today and what a great place! Food was excellent and the people here are the nicest we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Our daughter has been learning Korean for about a year and our waitress talked to her for a while in Korean. It just made our daughter's day! She also brought us 5 different foods to try for no charge and quizzed our daughter to see if she understood what they were based on her pronunciation. It was fun. We are definitely lifelong customers. This is a special gem in Louisville.“
“The food and sides were both great! The food was all prepared and set well, with good flavors! The owner is a very sweet man too.Parking: There is a lot specified for the building, you can get 2 free hours of parking through a QR code system.“
“Visiting from out of town, I stumbled across Jin Doshirak whilst on my way to pick up lunch elsewhere, I’m so glad to have stopped here instead! The vibe was unpretentious, straightforward and accommodating. I got the Japchae, it was delicious and a great value. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!“
“Had a brother/sister lunch here. This place is amazing. Quite literally hole in the wall with the owners manning the floor and the kitchen. Don't expect to fully understand the lady working if you bc her English is broken...(that's how you know the food is going to be amazing, by the way. We ended up starting with Mandu and both going for the bulgogi beef which included rice and banchan. The pickled sides are to die for and we couldn't even finish it all.“
“This spot is located in the Logan Street Market. We placed our order at the counter and they they gave us a pager. There is common area seating inside and outside. My mom had the spicy salmon poke bowl with spicy cucumber, regular cucumber, warm noodles, and yum yum sauce. I ordered the ahi tuna kimchi, pickled radish, edamame, ginger with fries rice. The ingredients tasted so fresh and food was prepared to order. Food tasted very refreshing. So many options and variations. Great service.“
“I'd been waiting for this place to open and it was well worth the wait, my partner and I went here last night for our anniversary dinner and it was phenomenal! The food was wonderful, the staff were kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, and eating here was a truly great experience. The atmosphere is lovely, too. As we approached the restaurant, we could smell the food from inside and it got us even more excited than we already were, a taste of things to come. Top 1 makes a great first impression, and the impression lasts through the entire experience. We will definitely be returning, and I can't recommend this place enough. If you want a unique restaurant with great food at a reasonable price, this is the place.“
“We were wanting to try something different .. Korea … why not let see! The outside did not reflect the inside. Once we were in, very pleasant place well decorated. We asked for a recommendation dishes. Once the order made. Mine was smoky and well prepared. We enjoyed the food. It was delicious ? however it was tiny bit pricy for the size. But we were happy ?.Vegetarian options: We had to request because one of us is ? vegetarian.“
“Okay I don't often come to The Mall at St Matthew. I have discovered a new to me place to eat!!! Kupbop is an awesome and amazing family run business. The food is excellent!!! I had the Bulgogi bowl with tofu and my first try of Korean hotdogs. Mine was wrapped in I'm potatoes and sprinkle with sugar and katsup. It is sooooo good!! Come try this place!!! Everyone is super nice“
“Probably my favorite restaurant in southern Indiana. It's not much to look at from the outside or inside, but I come for the food, not the ambiance. I can't say enough good things about the flavors. It's always so hard picking between the bibimbap and the bul go gi (I usually pick this one though). The people working here are so friendly too. I just love this place.“
“What is really amazing about this place is the staff! The women who work here are warm, friendly, and helpful. I was a boba tea rookie, and they walked me through what boba even is, how to order it, and gave me suggestions on what I might like. And I loved their creation! I wish I had gotten their names, but if they’re reading this - thank you! “
“This was the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. There is a gas skillet built into the table and you cook your own meat, nothing better than hot off the grill!! It’s so interactive and such a nice place. It is on the expensive side, but I wasn’t left feeling bad about that, hell everything is expensive these days! Best cut of beef I’ve had in years, will be returning again soon!Vegetarian options: They have vegetable and non meat items.“
