Don't take the lower atmosphere rating fool you ... this is still a great place to visit. They're just more of a take out kind of place, with inside seating for about 8. In good weather, you can sit on the patio out back. The food is typically fantastic. I had a ham (country), egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin today. They did not disappoint!Parking: Most parking is in a lot, lower from the entrance and off to the side. They technically have handicap parking, but not sure you'd want to bring a wheelchair.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the sweets, but with limited seating inside and no visible high chairs, maybe not a great place to stop and eat.Dining in could be different with eating outside. There are some old play equipment installations outside from when it was a school.Wheelchair accessibility: Technically yes, but limited, and not without difficulty. The bathroom I think would NOT be wheelchair accessible.

So glad Midway Bakery is back open. They have wonderful scones and cookies. The sorghum cookie is a must. Stop for lunch for bagel or biscuit sandwiches. Our favorite is cream cheese, apple butter and country ham! There is always something for everyone. Also, they have a small outside patio or table inside to eat.

Amazing cookies! Chewy with a great crunch exterior and inventive flavors like corn and oats with chocolate chip cranberry and sorghum.

Absolutely worth the hour and change drive from home to reach this destination bakery! The bourbon chocolate pecan pie is just right sweet and full of tasty pecan bits and a hint of the nectar that is Kentucky bourbon. The loaf of rye bread made amazing toast for breakfast and the assortment of cookies were always yummy. By far my favorite was the country ham and cheese scone - warmed up with a drizzle of fresh butter and I'm drooling just thinking about my next one! The service was great and the young lady who packed up our half of pie generously added an extra slice when one of the slices was broken in cutting it up to fit in the container. The ambiance of this place was comfortable and full of the delectable smells of a great bakery - we'll be back for sure!
Very expensive cookiesSorry but for the price they were not very good

Obsessed with all the magic that Ouita creates, especially when it comes to baked goods! Love the seven layer bars, the lemon squares, the cookies, the sandwiches. All of it. Love this place and it's a definite stop by at least once (more, preferably) when I'm home.

This is a commercial bakery that has a restaurant too. They have the best breakfast!

We got our wedding cake from Midway bakery and we received so many compliments on how good it was! My husband and I went the simple route and got some sheet cakes and a round cake for us to cut into. Kayla made it easy to get tastings, order/finalize, and pick up! Even their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are amazing! They were definitely the best tasting cake that we had tried that also fit into our budget! I will be recommending them to everyone and will go back for all occasions!
