Our server (Jesse) continued to treat us like old friends and was always aware of our status and made sure we were taken care of. The food was super great! The scenery was great as well! “I was passing through the area and was looking for a good breakfast and found one! The ladies working there couldn’t have been nicer. My breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced. The dining room was spotless. The bathroom was just as pristine. I regret I couldn’t stay for lunch.”

“This little family owned restaurant has been in business for generations, it has amazing food. Even more amazing than the food, THE MILK SHAKES! They're always handmade, with pretty much any flavor you could want. I always get peanut butter and banana. (Made with real peanut butter and banana). They also have chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream, and really good Banana splits. You can't beat them, really. In my opinion, it's the only place in Mount Vernon to go for a milkshake. Nowhere else can even come close to the quality, for the price.”

“Great food, much cheaper than other similar restaurants. Can’t beat a $6 margarita! The flan was very good as well, and I could tell they did not use the small frozen shrimp. Great place for cheap Mexican food without compromising on quality. I like that it’s family owned and run, makes me feel happy to support a small business!”
