“The Tea Station is one of our go to restaurants for the entire family. We enjoy the summer outdoor setting when it's warm out. It's a little small inside but it's quaint & cute. We often order to go and take it home as well. I recommend the lettuce wraps. Always a favorite.“
“I had hoped the menu had also regular meals, but others than chicken fried rice, it's pretty much all sushi. We had the yum yum roll, it wasn't very firm, slices very uneven, but the flavor was good. We split a chicken fried rice and hubby also had miso soup. The service was good, was hard to get closed out so we could leave. I would come back if in the mood for sushi.“
“This is a small restaurant, seems like it's probably mostly carry out. But the sushi was some of the best I've ever had and my husband had a chicken dinner that he didn't want to share! Even the soup before the meal was better than soup I have had at other places! The owner was so kind and gave us good recommendations. We enjoyed eating here, highly recommend.“
“Excellent service and food. My partner and I ordered two sets of sushi and a yakisoba bowl to share on our anniversary and it was one of the most enjoyable flavor combinations I have had in a while. The servers were very present and offered refills early, and were in high spirits.Parking: Parking spots are a tight fit backing out of when leaving.“
“The salmon in the Sunset Roll was great quality, so fresh it melted in my mouth. The entire roll was absolutely refreshing and just what I needed. The ‘Heart Attack’ looked like a fun thing to order on the menu and was a pleasant surprise, exceeding my expectations. I would say it is more like their spin on a jalapeño popper, however, made with green peppers and MUCH better... completely worth the extra deep fried calories. So glad this place is in Logan Street Market!“
“A casual, simple sushi restaurant with uncomplicated delicious food, where the chef clearly takes pride in his work. I highly recommend! Try the crunch roll!Dietary restrictions: Sushi is always great for non-dairyParking: I didn't see a lot of parking, but if it's not too busy (which it wasn't when I went), there are a couple of spots along the street nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: I think a wheelchair would have trouble because the door is a bit narrow and there's a step to get in“
“I came on Sunday during the afternoon and the atmosphere is chill and not as packed. The service was great they checked on me and refilled my water without asking as well and take my empty plates away when i finished, they gave me my food in a timely manner (: The food was GREAT especially the deep fried octopus (: I enjoyed my steak and chicken hibachi with the yum yum sauce and their yum yum sauce is AMAZING. I will be back (: Btw the music is also great, not a bad track was played (:“
“Great way to get into sushi, very approachable rolls and plenty of other options for uncertain guests. I've been coming here for over 10 years and have had consistent service and food every visit. The new location upscaled their service and I've really enjoyed the menu items added since their move. Walkable part of the city so it's easy to waste an hour waiting for a table along the streets of the highlands.Parking: Pretty busy part of Bardstown Rd, when in doubt turn down a random side street and find a spot.“
“Best spot in Highlands to grab a pint and a bite, trust me when I say this is authentic Bardstown Rd Louisville, for better for worse (mostly better!). The staff and clientele are regulars and even come visit, from past to present; this is a friendly, family place, and the tastes and menu are diverse and welcoming. From Czech beer to Asian foods to Americas finest IPAs they have it, along with Sushi rolls and bar bites, from plain to fancy, they have it. Board games and card games, they have that too. Come in and say hi today, I’ll be set outside on the patio/sidewalk with a pint and some delicious food.“
“Had a wonderful time on St. Patrick's Day . Enjoyed the delicious food and drinks. Our server, Trustun, allowed our group to sit and enjoy ourselves for several hours , while still being very attentive, fun to banter with and making us feel special.Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant as well as a rear entrance. Very convenient.“
“We were so pleased. It was an unexpected stop after puppy class. Best sushi we've had and we ate it on the way home. We will return for sure. It was fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced as well. I wish they had one in our area. Fern Creek could use a ToGo Sushi!!“
“We were the only people in the restaurant at around 3pm which was kinda surprising for how good this place was. The menu was expansive and the prices were reasonable. The server was nice and the restaurant was very clean. The lunch menu was from 11-3:30 I believe and was a good amount of food.Parking: Parking lot out front maybe 10 spots.“
“Luis was our server. Delicious was our food. Memorable was our experience. I drank the best bourbon old fashion I've ever had. Thank you, bartender Kris. From the friendly host stand to the clean bathrooms, you'll love this restaurant.“
“our waitress was so sweet!! I went with my best friend and her family today and got the spicy tuna roll and yum yum roll, it was some of the best sushi I've ever eaten!! will definitely recommend in the future to anyone looking for a new place to try.“
“Visiting from out of town, I stumbled across Jin Doshirak whilst on my way to pick up lunch elsewhere, I’m so glad to have stopped here instead! The vibe was unpretentious, straightforward and accommodating. I got the Japchae, it was delicious and a great value. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!“
“My companies goto place for great Chinese food.Lunch specials are filling and well priced.Bento Boxes are packed with food.Food is made quickly, I can order and leave to go pick it up and it is usually ready.Best lo mein I have had, very flavorful and soaks up the sauces from entrees.Vegetarian options: tofu entrees, veggie stir fry, veggie spring roles, salad with ginger dressing.“
“Not only was this some of the best sushi my nephew and I had ever had, but the staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. Portions were huge and pricing was great. We will definitely eat here again when we head back to Louisville. 10/10“
“Delicious. Try the garlic edamame. You’ll love it. I had the super white tuna and salmon sashimi. The fish was fresh and plentiful. My only regret: I’ve had carry out twice and both times food items were missing. The first time: sashimi. The second time: soup and salad. I’m going to give it another go.“
“We had an amazing dinner and are excited to come back and try the ramen!!! Hibachi and boba tea were both great, and our server was awesome and super accommodating of my weird dietary restrictions. Super cute casual atmosphere. This might be one of my new favorite spots!!“
“WARNING! DO NOT get ANY side order because it is NOT worth the money for a few bites. Get the main courses. Great food just VERY disappointed this trip. Thought I would just order the side Salmon without the rice, soup, and vegetables(hibachi dish), but instead only got a tiny square of Salmon. Could have gone elsewhere for a decent meal for $9. ?“
“Classic Yamato restaurant if you have been to one before this is pretty much the same. Sushi is good and so is the food. Service is usually prompt and I haven't really had to wait very long. I love Yamato they pop up in smaller towns and give a variety to the regular fast food joints that you usually only would get in a small town. The building is an old Pizza Hut that I used to go to every weekend as a kid so even though it's not a Pizza Hut I still get all the feels and memories from my childhood.“
“Food was great. Cheeseburgers, quesadilla, fish. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen for over 10 minutes! Luckily, Abby came over to ask if we had been helped. We said no, so she took & brought our drink orders. After a little while longer, she asked if waiter had come by, but again no. So she kindly took our order. She was friendly, personable, & efficient. Because of her, we had a nice evening!THANK YOU, ABBY!!!“
“Decided to check it out when our regular sushi place was full. So glad we did! This is a great little place, plus locally owned. It was pretty full when we got there but we were seated pretty quick. Got a couple ginger salads and a couple sushi rolls for a really good price! Everything was delicious and the service was awesome. This is a small building with a difficult parking layout, so be prepared for that.“
“Great food and wonderful atmosphere. I finally found a hibachi place that has the quality and selection I'm looking for. Highly recommend this spot, they have dozens of choices for sushi and the food was superb.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Brought my five year old and one year old and the waiter was great with both of them.“
“We’ve been a few times and it’s always good!! Most recently we tried the poke bowl with spicy crab and shrimp, chicken pad Thai and a teriyaki chicken bento box. I highly recommend - it takes about 20 minutes to get but it’s all made fresh and worth the wait!!“
“I think 4 is perfect for this place… it seems to be family owned and the man with glasses who is the waiter was incredibly kind and helpful… it was clean and comfortable. The sushi is good, especially for Louisville… again a solid 4… prices were very reasonable and good sake choices. Seems like most people were getting takeout and eating inside it was easy to get a seat on a Friday night.“
