“We stopped in to the gas station at the Walmart looking for information about where to park our camper van. Tia and Patricia were very knowledgeable about the area and recommended that we camp overnight at the rest area just south of exit 114 on the interstate. They also recommended that tomorrow we check out the Bernheim Forest, off of exit 112. At the same exit, there will be the County fair this weekend - which could be quite exciting. They had no answer for me about why Shepherdsville is the location of so many huge distribution centers: two of them of a scale I have never seen before, basically sitting empty - and a new one being built. Pretty strange! I really did not patronize either the big Walmart store or the gas station, except to talk to Tia and Patricia - both of whom I highly recommend :-). Oh, and yeah, it is a big wide open plane here outside in Shepherdsville - with amazing skies! And one other thing: what's going on with these two huge tits that are surrounded by fence? It makes me suspicious that there's something in there that shouldn't be sitting there.“

“Working with this baker, she was amazing. Made our custom design come to life. Picking a flavor was so hard because her flavors were so yummy. Our top is strawberry, middle is bailey's and bottom is strawberry. This fed enough ppl plus more with us saving our top cake. We estimated 75 people when ordering. She arrived on time and the cake was just gorgeous.“

“Kim did a WONDERFUL job creating my best friends bachelorette cake and slid us in last minute! The cake was so yummmmy, truly...10/10 recommend. Very talented and sweet. “We heard about La Morena through Yelp's virtual event with Farm + House and decided to visit this bakery in person to check it out. As we parked we noticed that OPEN light was off. It was an afternoon so we thought maybe they had closed, but when we were through shopping at the small Mexican grocery next door the sign was lit, so we went in. It's a small business and our visit was in the middle of a pandemic, so odd hours are understandable. The storefront is recognizable if you've been to other panaderias: trays and tongs for self-service, glass-doored cases with shelves of panes dulces and breads, a refrigerator with packaged slices of cake. True to their name, they also carry tortillas, chips, and bags of masa (the latter found in the refrigerated case). The pastry selection is pretty standard: conchas, donuts, filled pastries, orejas, marranitos, tri-color cookies, etc. At the counter, there's a book with images of cakes that can be special ordered. I thought we went overboard selecting pastries on our first visit, but for only $8 we got half a dozen cookies/pastries and a piece of tres leches cake. It was a steal; all were good. We've also ordered through Farm+House, which is nice since La Morena is a drive for us. This has enabled us to try more items, including their telera rolls, tortillas, and tortilla chips. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. If you aren't in the area, maybe manufacture and excuse to be so you can check out these baked goods.“

“Amazing experience, my 1st time there, and the guy let me have an extra donut i desired, he was very attentive and the donuts are so fairly priced, I like that they fill the jelly/custard/and cream right in front of you, and are very generous with that, and everything else, if I would of had it, I would of tipped the tip jar with a 100$bill, oh and the sizes of the huge delicious bear claws, and cinnamon rolls are huge! Thank you sir I love ur donut shop!! :)“

“El rey is a really good shop, all latins love this place cause it has our authentic food, the one we had back home and I think sometimes is good to remember your birth country!!! I love the colors and varieties they have and all the people that works there are really nice ?“
