Stopped here while on my trip!! Best decision!! Came in and the first thing you smell is how clean it is!! Everything there was clean !! Then the amazing food smell!! The people there were so nice and friendly!! The chips and salsa was so good!! Only thing that kinda sucked was that they don’t have aguas frescas they only have machine drinks, which is fine I had a sweet tea that was really good !! The Food Omg I have to say make sure you come here HUNGRY!! Cause man do they give you a plate full !! I got a chicken, rice, mushrooms with cheese plate it was delicious but I couldn’t finish it !! Also Got a plate that had carne asada, a block of cheese, green chili, jalapeño, chorizo, onions, shrimp, and limes!! The flavor was all there very very good !! Definitely will be coming back for sure!!

The waitress was very attentive. Our drinks never went empty and I must say the shrimp cocktail is so delicious, so many flavors going on. If you you like ceviche try the shrimp.

El Nopal is a Louisville treasure and this location did not disappoint. Our server was extremely kind and welcoming, as was the entire staff. We did wait longer than any other El Nopal... and by that I mean literally like 10 minutes max! (How do they always get the food out so fast?!) The food is top tier. Reminds me of the Mexican food that I ate when I lived in Los Angeles. Authentic.. made with love and happiness. Truly people who pride the work that they do.
