“We booked the upstairs party room for our family Christmas party. Everything was perfect, hall was decorated and festive! They handled everything. The kitchen manager, Chuck Wilson was amazing! We worked out the menu together and he out did himself. Quality and quantity was outstanding. This guy deserves a raise! All staff members were friendly and helpful. It was a perfect night! Thank you Chuck Wilson, and Green Kayak!“
“Coaches corner is the best place. It's so much fun & the food is delicious!! The service is EXCELLENT!! You won't find a better local hangout! Casey behind the bar is a real treasure, she makes you want to come back everyday! Truly there is nothing better, it's Newport finest hidden gem if you haven't been before!“
“It's been more than 4 years since I've been here. I wasn't impressed back then, which is why I hadn't returned until now. NOW, it is a fantastic place to chill. I loved our pizza. The staff was very friendly. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of parking. I'll be back soon. Thanks for the fantastic transformation. Somebody knows what they are doing. It reminds me of the Mount Adams Bar and Grill without lots of collectibles on the walls. (Hint, I like collectibles...imagine Newtown's history.)Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza was fantastic.Parking: Lots of parking in the back!“
“If you ask how I want the burger cooked, you got to deliver. I said medium, and I got well done, not burnt or dry though. It was still juicy and seasoned fine. It was just "eh". A $16 burger should make want to come back. Fries were seasoned well and crispy.“
“O'Bryons is the epitome neighborhood bar and restaurant in Newport. Service is courteous, friendly and timely. The bartender is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Food is above average while being prepared well and fresh. The chicken wrap and chicken wings were tasty. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is a bit of a challenge with it all being street parking. Overall a good experience and worth trying out.“
“Flintlocks Bar and Grill is a neat little place. Great service. Awesome staff and customers. Very welcoming. Even have live music. And the stuff I saw come out of the kitchen looked good. Heard they have an amazing fish sandwich… gotta go back on a Friday and check it out.“
“We've lived near ATP for nearly 12 years and up until a few years ago when owners changed we never went. But now we have been several times that past few years and the place is so much better. It still has that dive bar, hometown bar feeling but the food has been great, they seem to have great activities going on, and the staff has been awesome.“
“Neighborhood bar. People know each other from high school. Party room. Friday night gumbo. Grilled cheese with bacon. Chicken wings and good fries every time. Great place to hang out, watch the game, enjoy some pub food. Doesn't get more relaxing than that!“
“The Pilot has been my local spot for years, It’s truly like an episode of Cheers! The staff, the owner and the regulars make you feel welcome! The Pilot Inn will always have a special place in my heart.Parking: Parking is never an issue. The pilot inn has their own parking lot and there is also plenty of parking next door at rookwood commons.“
“It's a cute well done little bar. Nice out doors area, very affordable. It's still looking for it's customers tho. Currently here at 9:30pm on a Friday night and there's 4 people here counting me and my girlfriend. We'd probably come back just as a cheap drink to get out for a minute or a pit stop to other places.“
“Cozy local spot. Feels almost like a cabin, with lots of wood paneling. From the decor you’ll note that Reds fans are more than welcome. If the flyers on the walls (and in the ladies restroom) are accurate, looks like they have live music every evening of the week (!) Note: I came in the daytime, so wasn’t able to benefit from that- maybe next time.Service was friendly. My overall take: Worth checking out. Not fancy and not a chain/franchise - pure local flavor, in the best way.“
“Wow. I was taking a gamble. And was I impressed. Staff was nice and considerate. The wings are some of, if not, the best I have ever had.And I noticed the Ranch was different. They make it in house. And it’s amazing on the wings. I can ? recommend the Cajun Mustard ones.I’ll definitely be back.“
“Quaint little spot I'm Obyonville. Best chicken tenders ever. They're beer battered and fried and they are out of this world.Parking: Paid parking lot is 3.00 per hour but there's always plenty of room. Street parking available but high in demand.“
“Great place for a delicious burger! Go back in time with classic rock music that inspires a unique menu - burgers named for bands and songs, like the “Lincoln Pork” or the“Bread Zeppelin” or even the “Rob Zombwich”. Tables decorated with all sorts of musical artists.“
“Stopped in for lunchand got a great burger and fries. No soybean burgers here, real beef !The toppings were good and fresh also.I don't know what else they have, but I'm sure it's great. Also it's a friendly place ...a good ol' bar. I'll be back .“
“Went to see Kurt Adams play on 2/24/24. This place is old, small and full of character, history, and ambience. The night I was there was a mix of regulars and folks there to support Kurt and everyone was friendly, just looking to have a good time. Service was good even though the bartender was new. I've heard that the bluegrass jam every other Thursday is cool, so I hope to check that out soon.“
“The ribs were great smoked just right with sauce on the side. The greens and baked beans were good also! Can't wait to try more. It's a family run business so help them be successful. The owner was such a nice guy and so hospitable!!“
“Great family owned and operated pub. Solid standard food options like burgers, wings, and various sandwiches and salads. You will find something you like on the menu 100%. The food is consistently good and fresh. But the highlight is the staff. They are very engaging and friendly. They remember your name and make you feel like part of the family. St Bernard Pub feels like home. My lunch crew and I try to eat here once a week.“
“The seasoned crowd is the best. No violence, no drunken outburst, great food especially the fish dinners with the peppers and onions. The outdoor covered patio with a bar is awesome. The projector screens outside to catch all the sports. The New owners turned the Old Sunny's into a bright "Cali" . Teamwork really does make the dream work.Great place to hang out.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access is nice and accommodating.“
“I've been coming to Salem Gardens since childhood. It's a good neighborhood place to get a bite to eat and spend time with friends. Not fancy, just a placeI've known about forever, wish I still lived nearby.Parking: Good sized parking lot and if that fills up there is on street parking too“
“Kendall, our server was wonderful! Answered all of our questions and spot on for delivery of our food. My problem was our seating. Our reservation was for 5 pm, we arrived 15 minutes early and were promptly seated just outside an empty private room that they seated 6 people who became very loud! And then seated another group of 4 on our opposite side. I'm checking out this mostly empty restaurant scratching my head and wondering why.“
“I don’t often give 5 stars but this place does deserve it. The atmosphere is quite unique with custom chairs and booths. I had the Tuesday special which was $2 tacos - chicken, steak, pork and el pastor-so good. Unfortunately there was not a fish taco but what they did have was excellent. My husband had fajitas-so much food came sizzling to the table. Really a place not to be missed when in the area.“
“One of my personal favorite small bars in all of Cincinnati. The atmosphere is great almost all of the time. Not a huge spot so it may be busy on random days. But prices are reasonable and staff is always quick and great at there jobs. Overall a solid experience.“
“Great little dive bar with awesome service, chill vibe and great drinks! Perfect spot to hang out with a group of friends to watch some sports or sing karaoke. Rooftop tables available for those nice cool nights, and also connects to neighboring O'Malleys. We had a blast hanging out here!“
“Updated: Hours are relatively better now. Go on Tuesdays and see KC, absolutely Fabulous. John, the security, is holding down the fort and is also good for some laughs. Cheap drink prices. Tons of regulars. This was my first bar I went to when I moved into the neighborhood and instant became a regular. So check it out and become a regular too!“
“We love this bar!!! The food is always great, no matter what you get. The bartenders are knowledgeable and super friendly. They have lots of fun shooters and drink promos. This bar is a great value and the pool tables will always keep us coming back!“
“Food and drinks were super tasty. We had Brian as our server and loved our time there! He suggested that we sit downstairs which was completely open for us. Brian offered information about specials and their best drinks. Definitely ask for him if you stop! The atmosphere of the place was great for a night out with friends.“
“This place is cool! It's basically your local neighborhood bar with an awesome bartender! Stop in and see Kiki! They also have a great music selection with a pool table. The interior could be updated but that doesn't bother me one bit. This was our 1st time coming to this establishment and we felt so welcomed! Will definitely be back!“
“A great classic Cincinnati pub up in Mt. Adams and on the northend of the main strip. A historical building that has been treasured for years creates an amazing setting for great grub and good times. The menu is eclectic and the drinks are good. Have gone many times when in town for business or visiting my daughter at UC. Easily accessed from downtown or campus. Parking is on the street & is always interesting. Folks are always friendly & helpful. A good cultural destination if you're looking for a classic Cincinnati experience. Then go around the corner and enjoy some live music at The Blind Lemon!“
“The vibe during a Bengals game was crazy. Seemed a bit under staffed for it though - had some minor trouble getting service. Great TV angles and we liked our food. Pizza is pretty standard though so I'd go for burgers or other menu items instead.“
“Hanks... Hanks is Hanks, solid bartenders. Pool table is bang up as well. I wouldnt mess with the bartenders cause they can handle their own business but don't think they don't have a plethora of regulars that will have their back, cause they're just that good and hospitable to their customers. Walk in and you feel like a regular. Love it and will be back again and referring to friends to watch the game at.Parking: If not in the front go around back.Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah just roll on in.“
“My first time there and was treated like I was a regular patron. The bartender even cut herself preparing my shot of gin and turned it into a humorous accident and we laughed about it. Other patrons were friendly and very welcoming. I definitely will return and may become my new favorite spot.“
“I go here every year prior to the Cincinnati St Patrick’s Day Parade which is the Saturday before St Patrick’s day each year.Parking: The parking is outrageously expensive if you are there only 4-5 hours. It’s all the same whether you stay a couple of hours or 24 hours. Parking costs as much as a few drinks or an entire meal.“
“I went to lunch with a large family group. There was plenty of space for all of us and it was quiet enough that we could all talk and hear the conversation. I wasn't very hungry so I just got the loaded fries appetizer. The toppings were good but the fries themselves were a bit over cooked and chewy. I did get to try a bite of the fish though and that was really tasty. If I'm ever on that side of town again I would absolutely order the fish and chips.“
“Stopped in here on Sunday for the first time with my wife. The bar was full and there were numerous customers at tables. There was only one employee bartending and serving also. Tommy provided super fast service. He was working his butt off and even made the time to ensure we were satisfied. This is how service should be! Food was great too and runner was also working hard. Will be back.“
“During a road trip we made the last minute decision to stop in Cincinnati for the night. Arrived around midnight and headed here as it was one of the only places open at the time. The bartender was super cool. He made us great drinks and awesome recommendations on grabbing a bite to eat late night. The vibes here were lively, everyone seemed to be having a good time with smiles on their faces. We only grabbed a drink, conversed with the bartender and headed out.“
“Had the Spinach Wrap for breakfast and it was fabulous! They had a buffet but I opted to eat off the menu. (We travel quite a bit and I was tired of the same buffet menu).Servers were excellent, exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would go back for that breakfast wrap!“
“Cute little bar/grill. It was fun to look at all the funny signs they had about the place. Our drinks were nicely poured. I had to try their famous deep fried hamburger and it was yummy! Never saw anything like it before. My husband got classic burger and enjoyed it. They have a place to sit outside which would be nice in cooler weather. It's a place that reminds you of the old days which is what I love!!!“
