“I had the chicken dinner, with potatoes, dressing, and roasted carrots. It was a wonderful dinner. Our server was helpful and personable. We took some friends with us that had never been there. He had corned beef and cabbage, and it, too, was delish! They want to go back. Good food, good service.“

“My latest visit to Ten Pin was for my son's school bowling league. The alley was active for a Friday afternoon. We filled up at least 20 lanes but barely took up a third of the alley. The lanes kept score for the players and flashed standing pins before throw #2. A long, curved seat is available for players on two lanes and overall there was enough space for people to sit between bowling. Behind the playing area was a long row of tables, which was a nice space to watch our kids without being in their personal space or distracting them.True story. While I was there to support my son I had been dreaming of bowling alley fries from the snack. I was not disappointed in their crinkle fries. So good! I also got a grilled cheese. Nothing extravagant, just one off the griddle like your grandma would make you. The snack bar has a full menu, including pizza and burgers. Drinks were plentiful, including soda, Icees and beer. Check out Ten Pin for leagues, birthday parties and basic lane rentals. This is a classic bowling alley to enjoy!“

“Came to Saints last night for a football game. As usual, they are a busy spot for game time and we had to wait for a seat. No problem- we grabbed a drink at the bar and went outside where we still had game visibility. Upon returning inside, we found a table. The server in our corner bounced around serving every single table around us as we sat for 30+ mins waiting. No "I'll be right with you", nothing. I made eye contact with her several times and she continued to avoid us. At one point, she even walked by and put her hand flat up beside her cheek almost to "block" her view of us as she walked by. Watching her serve other tables.. you could feel her attitude- rolling her eyes at people, huffing and puffing as she walked around. Busy, I get it. But don't be a server at a very busy restaurant if you aren't capable of still making it a positive experience for the customers. There was only two of us- not difficult. I finally got up and stood at the bar waiting for her to come out of the kitchen. After chasing her down, I asked if she was the server for our table. She just stared at me. So I said "No? Ok..." and just walked back with intentions of finding another server. She followed me to the table..pulled out her ordering tablet and stared at us. We politely (and awkwardly) ordered our entire meal and more drinks because we weren't sure if she would ever return. After we ordered, she literally just walked away. Not one word came out of her mouth the entire time. At this point, I asked another server to send a manager over. Jamie came by and completely changed the tune. She showed concern, listened, and sincerely apologized. Only thanks to Jamie, the remainder of our visit was wonderful. She took care of us from all angles- although she shouldn't have to do take one of her servers tables when she is busy managing her own tasks. Food was excellent and we will be returning but I can't say I'd be happy if I saw the same server in our section. It was extremely unpleasant until Jamie took ever. Thank you Jamie!“

“We loved this place so much we went twice in the same week. Had such a great experience with the food and drinks that we had to go back. I have to say, the best burger that I have ever had!! “Decided to try this place on our road trip. It was delicious! A bit salty but still absolutely delicious! The Calamari didn't taste sweet or spicy but still no complaints. Thinly battered and tasted good even without doing in the sauce. I had the mussels in the white sauce and my husband had the red sauce. Our son had the sandwich. The bread was really soft (almost like French toast) and the short rib was so soft and tender. We also got the Mac & cheese for our daughters to share. At first they were skeptical because of the color (compared to Krafts) but after the first bite, they were convinced. It was so creamy. Our girls ended up having a little of everything and actually finished off their plates.“

“For the most part the overall experience was nice. I enjoyed a night of crafting with friends, and while yes you can probably do it at home for cheaper you’re paying for an experience so I was comfortable paying the prices.However, that being said, the first staff member (woman with long green hair) we had made our first half of the evening not that enjoyable. She was quite rude and seemed annoyed by anything we asked. We tried to ask for her recommendation on which craft or even what colors were popular for different paintings/embroidery crafts or even simply what colors were available and were met with a “just chose from the rainbow”. 3/5 of us chose the embroidery and we each received different items in our craft buckets, and one didn’t receive any of her string. And then we never saw her again.The second staff member (short dark hair) made the world of difference. Was kind, patient and even allowed us to finish after our time was up. They helped get the missing items we didn’t receive in our craft bucket and checked in periodically for anything needed. Would love to go back and get the full experience with them instead.“

“listen to me - Planet of the Tapes is the greatest place in the known universe and it deserves your attention. it is the roadhouse from twin peaks come to life. they are building something truly special in Louisville and you should take one night out of your week to go to a trivia, comedy, or band show, or just to see a movie with friends. they even have some great non-alcoholic options and i don't think they get enough credit for their menu.“

“We had dinner at the taphouse Saturday night. Their food is delicious! We had the giant pretzel, blue cheese burger and the crack salad. I wanted to lick my plate. I had the Quaff on Hoosier Red beer on tap and my husband had the Nepo Baby and Foggy Geezer, both IPA's. We both loved them! But, what really made our night was Missy. She was so ever attentive and was very friendly. We loved chatting with her. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area. 5 Stars definitely!“

“This is one of the easiest reviews I will ever need to write. My friends from out of town wanted to go for Indian food. I have been to MANY of Louisville's best. I looked for the BEST of the Best and found Kathmandu rated the highest at the time of this review. Why not try a place I haven't been yet and write a review. We arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday night. It was a quaint place, clean and very comfortable with the inviting, colorful lights, yet not too bright. As soon as I stepped in the door, my senses started dancing. Besides being a small restaurant, the kitchen was close by. My wife and I and our friends from out of town found a booth and anticipated some good food, trusting the reviews to be valid. Ujina, was our server and host. She was very delightful and couldn't have done a better job making our visit rewarding. Ujina took our beverage order. We all asked for water. Ujina replied, with ice, or no ice? I like that. This is going to be a very detailed experience. She then took our food order which when I took my turn, added a couple appetizers, namely Onion Pakora's and Fried Mo Mo's. They were brought out first with some tasty sauces. We all enjoyed them very much. Our entrees arrived soon after the appetizers. I ordered Chicken Karahi, which is one of the BEST dishes I ever had ANY where. The chicken was quality chunks of goodness, the flavor unmatched and sauce thick enough to sop my garlic Naan in. We ALL ordered garlic Naan. Both couples ate one order and had another order left to take home along with left over entrees that came with basmati rice. My wife ordered Chicken Curry like she usually does and said this one was different than any other and Better. Our friends ordered Goat Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala which they were thrilled with. Another couple came in shortly after we arrived and sat on the opposite side of the restaurant. Other than that it was quiet. When we were ready to leave, I paid the bill, got a Military discount and spoke with the Owner/Chef, Purna. I can tell he cares about what he does and wants everything to be the BEST it can be. Kathmandu lives up to the highest reviews and IS the BEST Indian food in Louisville. The ambiance is very nice and the service is second to none. We never needed to look for Ujina for anything. She was there before we ever asked, filling our cups. I can't say enough about the texture and taste of the food. My entrée could only have been better with some MORE sauce, which I told Purna. He said next time ask for some more when ordered. The sauce is liquid gold. The veggies were perfect and the chicken was premium. I can't wait to go back and try something other offerings.“

“Great bar. Hadn't been in years. Stopped in for karaoke on a whim. Loved the laid back attitude of the singers and other patrons. Burger and fries was top notch. Staff was friendly and we didn't feel like outsiders at all. Will be back for sure.“

We adore the owner and staff, as we knew most of them from the previous establishment, Decca, and some from other favorite spots in Louisville. The entire menu is thoughtful and creative. “We had the best service with Kate! She gave us tips on what to order and ahead of time was dead on. We started with a cocktail and had a glass of wine with dinner. We split the spicy chicken empanadas, delicious, however, we did not detect the spice. We split the green chili Caesar. Honestly, the best Caesar in town. I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“

“I've been there several times. Including takeout. It has excellent food with an excellent wait staff. This is a family owned business and it shows. We love those environments. The food was Italian not too garlicky. A good strong tomato flavor but with good seasoning, so as not to be overwhelming, we are considering this for my wife's birthday. It's that good of a choice.“

“I love their rotating Cider selection, and I tend to get food from the pizza place next door or a snack from the cat cafe nearby and bring it over! Plenty of seating, the bartenders are really nice, and they have trivia on Wednesday! Dog and child friendly too, and they have some board games to borrow and play. “As Schnitzelburg residents, we love the history of our neighborhood and we were excited to take our kids to Hauck's Corner. It's eclectic. It has garage doors, street signs, stained glass lamps, bead-board ceilings, exposed brick, little nooks with corner tables, upholstered chairs, retro bar stools, light up beer signs, and a fun fabulous patio that almost gives off Lynn's Paradise Cafe vibes but offers a lot more. The patio has cornhole, a playground with slides and swings, chalkboards, mist to help beat the heat. It's huge. It's colorful and has a unique energy unlike anywhere else I've been in Louisville. There's a food truck outback and the menu is extensive. The service was friendly and efficient. I ordered a basket of crinkle fries, described as being served with a malt vinegar aioli and roasted garlic aioli. Also, pork belly tacos with slow roasted crispy pork belly, avocado crema, Hauck's sauce, pickled red onion, queso fresco, and corn tortillas. I ordered macaroni and cheese for my side. I did not get roasted garlic aioli, but tried another when I inquired about it. The truffle aioli was phenomenal. The macaroni and cheese was outstanding and the pork belly was crispy. I tend to find it flabby and the texture unappealing, but these were delicious. I ordered a glass of Prosecco. It was refreshing, cold, but maybe a bit less bubbly than I'm use to. I'm hyped about this place and having it in our neighborhood makes it a potential spot to be in our regular rotation. I can't imagine it not coming to mind now that we're having cooler patio nights with the changing seasons. This is perfect spot to get together with friends, for celebrations, or even playdates. When it comes to being both kid and adult friendly, Hauck's Corner is a one-of-a-kind experience.“

“Went to meet a friend, and found out they do salsa dancing and Karaoke. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very attentive. The only negative I could find was in the lack of items. You could have either a Nathan's hotdog, or you could have it with chili. Prices for food and drinks is very reasonable. “Popped into this establishment on a whim. Heard a song I liked and seemed like great ambiance. It was a rainy midweek evening and ended up staying many hours. The bartender Michael made excellent Old Fashioned. We enjoyed it so much and told they were having an event on Friday and invited us to come back. So we did. Now on a Friday it was far more lively even though it was another rainy night, and the great cocktails continued. They had a really great selection of bourbons as well which was a nice surprise. They also have a patio bar in the front of the building and had one last drink while waiting for our Uber.“

“We had a group of 9, so I called and reserved a table. I’m glad we did, because the restaurant was fairly busy even on a Thursday. Our server was amazing and so attentive. “Great dive bar. The staff were super nice and the Bloody Mary was simple and delicious. This place is no frills and chill. The pool tables have seen better days and a few of the cues could stand to be replaced but if you just want to play a game of slop while you kick back a great drink at a reasonable price, it does the job just fine. The bar side was a little loud due to the music volume but the side with the pool tables and games was very reasonable.“

“This was a great tour! While more relaxed than other distillery tours the tight-knit family and team make the experience well worth it. On this tour you get to learn about not just their bourbon but other spirits as well as all about prohibition and how it influenced the company. There were several tastings and in the end I was able to actually theive my own bottle straight out of the barrel. Overall, a fantastic experience with great people. Highly reccomended!“
