“Enjoyed my experience at this establishment. The owner was incredibly generous with his time and friendliness. Their organic margarita, they use a anejo that is quite good in this margarita, the price is also very cheap for a drink that size.“
“Don Jockey is such a cultural and gastronomical contribution to a town like Midway. They are true ambassadors of Mexican hospitality and cuisine. The owner, Jorge, works side by side with the staff, delivering a welcoming and personalized experience. The Blackened Chicken Sandwich and the Carne Asada are a must-have!"“
“What a gem. This lovely restaurant is close to Castle and Key distillery, right on the river. The food was plentiful, delicious and perfectly prepared. Also had a bourbon flight, which is so much easier than driving to multiple distilleries.“
“Coffee was great, loved the atmosphere. They had a great selection of bourbons. (I wanted to add a shot to my coffee but I was on pain meds for recent surgery so hubby shut that down ?)We went with flavored Lattes, a muffin and to split and a pastry a piece. The muffin was great but the texture of the pastries was extremely dry and crunchy. It was not pleasant. We would return if we were in the area but would stick with coffee (and a muffin if we want a snack). We did wish the coffee came in a larger size for our day trip drive but I get most people aren’t as “caffeinated” as we are. ?“
“I’ve been on a lot of tours and tastings but this one was one of my favorites. Jamie was our tour guide and he was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and funny. This was the first time I’d been to a tasting where I feel like I learned how to taste bourbon and whiskey properly.“
