“When in Alexandria, I highly suggest taking the time to indulge yourself at Mikado Sushi and Steakhouse. You will not be disappointed. This is that one in a million hole in the wall places we usually can only hope to find...and worth every moment. My server Erica was sharp, attentive, and a wonderful young lady, doesn't get any better than her. The Seaweed Salad was spot on, but the extra surprise was the finely sliced cucumber bed beneath the salad. Great extra touch. The Sushi was amazing. But the true winner was the Sashimi....Salmon, Tuna, White Tuna, White Fish, Yellowtail, and Abacore...all large thick slices and lots of it. The Sushi Chef really did a nice job. This is definitely a must go to restaurant for those who love Japanese cuisine. Hot Sake and Sapporo Beer were just icing on the cake. If you have the opportunity I suggest giving this place a try, you won't regret your decision. Enjoy !!!!“
“If your expectations from hibachi express aren't 5 stars, then your expectations are too high. They have excellent food that's priced fairly for being a mostly drive through restaurant. I have no idea how many times I've been there now.“
“Jeremiah the manager is FANTASTIC. My husband and I recently lost our daughter and months after my husband tried taking me to Hana in Alex to brighten my spirits. We were sat at a busy table with 5 little children two of which were babies. The restaurant was PACKED there was no way to switch tables. We had a wait for 2 hours to begin with. I tried to tough it out but it was too much and I had a panic attack. Of course my triggers and emotional state is not the fault of the family nor the establishment. However it was so severe and embarrassing we had to leave before our food was brought out and cooked. My husband spoke with the manager letting him know we needed to leave and he was very kind. He even told us when we are ready to let him know and he'd be happy to welcome us back. Well two months later I was and he sat us all by ourselves and made sure we had an amazing time. Our waiter and chef were amazing too. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the manager and the kindness he showed us!“
