Shrimp is delicious YET super spicy. Would be better if they left off the cayenne pepper. Tasted great until my tongue started burning. Doughnuts are exceptional though. Wish they told me the shrimp is spicy, I would have ordered something else

The evening crew is terrible one of the worst service I ever had, there’s this one young girl who works there she has braids and white nails. She had a nasty attitude with me the whole time I was in there. Gerald’s you guys need to do better with who you hire for the evening crew because this one young girl who works there needs immediate disciplinary action.

Gwen was my server and she was excellent. She even made me tartar sauce for my shrimp. My food was very salty, but it was hot and fresh. There could have been some ambiance with music rather than vanilla with none. I would recommend just for the service. Well done.
Used to go to Gerald's all the time when I lived in St Bernard parish. I was just passing through after visiting my brother and just had to stop by to get a few donuts and get my fix for the Krystal burgers they make. I now live in a town that has tons of donut shops but not one of them makes the Crystal burgers.... and boy do I miss them.I was a bit disappointed to find that this Gerald's was a little worn for wear. Not dirty exactly, but giving you the impression of being dirty by needing a serious renovation.The service staff were friendly though and they were busy as Gerald's always seemed to be when I had gone there regularly in the past. Still make good donuts and fabulous mini Krystal burgers. So thank you for that

Horrible place. I stood at the bar the 2 place a order for 45 minutes, while the staff just kept looking at me crazy, and helping out the other folks that came in. They waited on them right away while I still stood at the bar. Then when I did place the order for a cup of coffee they wanted to charge me for 4 small cups of coffee. Where u can go to a truck stop and get coffee much cheaper. I as for two donuts and they was ice cold, I asked the lady to warm them up she told she didn't have time. This little joint here in Arabi Louisiana, if your black don't waste your time or money here. They made me fill very uncomfortable and unwelcome. That was my first and last time spending money here. If your black and have your own coffee cup don't do it you'll get a up charge for more than one cup. For what I paid for coffee It's much cheaper at a truck stop.
