“Great quality, these cookies are always a hit for my teenagers! We don’t have one in the town we live so we always go when there’s one nearby. The store is always clean and fresh feeling. The self ordering with the iPads are super convenient and they are super quick. The staff was also nice and friendly.“
“My daughter and I were greeted by Michael. He was very personable and definitely made our experience exceptional! You’re lucky to have him on your team! Also, the food was delicious!! Best I’ve ever had at any Mooyah! Kudos to the cook! This facility was also very clean! 5 stars all around!“
“Delicious and fun dessert items featuring "exotic soft serve" ice cream, sorbets, and delicious fish-shaped objects stuffed with your choice of tasty additions then cooked to order. They also have an array of Asian bagged sweets and treats for sale, some of which were familiar and some I had never seen before. They are conveniently located around the corner from City Roots coffee shop if you like coffee with your frozen treats. The shop faces a public area within the Electric Depot footprint providing nice outside seating.Well worth the trip!“
“I don't understand why each and every establishment closes at 9 pm in Baton Rouge. Especially with it being a casino town. After dinner my friends and I wanted ice cream. The closest place of this nature was Brewsters Ice Cream. Knowing it closed at 10 pm we kicked it into high gear and headed that way arriving at 9:40. When we arrived we noticed all lights were off with zero cars in the parking lot...they had closed early. We were not giving up though. Next closest spot was Marble Slab. My gf Kim called and asked if they were really closing at 10 or planned on packing up early and heading out. The gentleman politely said they would remain open until 10. She warned him we would arrive with an estimated ETA of 9:58. He stated his doors would remain open. We arrive literally at 9:58 and gleefully smiled because he kept his word and the Open sign was lit up bright red. Knowing we had minimal time, we scurried inside and quickly made up our mind. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us with a sincere smile and happily made our four orders. While we were waiting for our dessert, we all genuinely thanked him for staying open and enjoyed some small talk. Turns out this establishment is family owned and has been open for over 25 years. He was the son of the owner attending LSU pursuing a degree in business as he planned on taking over the business. We sat down for a moment and enjoyed our ice cream and chat while he began closing duties. All the ice cream is made in house and all toppings were available at no extra charge. These days one gets charged extra for basically anything and everything so it was nice to see this place is kind enough to add extras with no additional cost. Our ice cream was amazIng. I had the pecan caramel something () that consisted of butter pecan ice cream with caramel, pecans and chocolate chips in a waffle cone. Hubs got strawberry cheesecake also in a waffle cone dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles. Again both were fresh and absolutely amazing. I wish more places displayed the customer service this business had. His attitude, friendly demeanor and kind soul made our evening. Thank you sir! If I lived anywhere remotely close to Baton Rouge this most definitely would be my go to spot for ice cream.“
“I frequent this Andy's a lot during my travels through Baton Rouge. Traveling through today from TX, I stopped for a usual concrete or jackhammer. . Ok, so my last visit, which was a month ago (March) I ordered a concrete butter pecan. So you know they left out my butter scotch!!! How!!?? Why!!!??? I was devastated. I didn't have time to circle back because ai was traveling through. I was getting on a conf call, so I couldn't immediately call. Anyhoo... I never called to talk to anyone, I just went with it and ate because I wanted my pecan fix! . So today (as previously stated), I swooped in to get my usual - butter pecan concrete with extra pecans. I mentioned to the young lady who took my order (@ 1ish or little after) she had ZERO personality. So, I ordered and I mentioned to the young lady - "Can you please make sure they add my butterscotch." She started looking at me with bizarre facial expression. And never agreed or denied... I asked her - there was a problem... she continued to pulling on her ear lobe and didn't say ZERO. I told her... I know Butterscotch , comes with it, but my last visit they didn't make it at all. The cashier at the front window was shocked to hear we didn't get it. (Facial expression). . Anyways!!! It was on point and my satisfaction was met! :-) Note: Get extra pecans on the side - OMGeeze!!!!“
“Always, and I mean ALWAYS, an exceptional experience and great dessert i ever have .Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority .“
“I dined in this weekend and it was amazing! I ordered the lasagna and it was the best lasagna I've had in a long time! the king cake Gelato was sooo good and my daughter was able to get dairy free sorbet that she loved! the workers was so nice and I will definitely be returning!“
“I had the most incredible experience at this snowball place! Louisiana truly knows how to deliver amazing snowballs, and this place exceeded all expectations. Not only are the snowballs the best I've ever had, but the warm and friendly people make the visit even more delightful. Their extensive menu offers top-notch quality, and I can't get enough of their cheesecake snowballs - just be ready for some colorful mouths afterward. My only disappointment is their seasonal availability, but the neighboring food place's fantastic Bayou eggrolls help pass the time while waiting for these heavenly treats. I'll gladly travel any distance to savor these snowballs again!“
“One of my classes got out early so my friends and I decided to find the new dairy store!! I love that they redid it. It feels much cleaner and is way more spacious. They had a wide range of ice-cream flavors to choose from and the girl who helped us was super nice!“
“Oh my goodness these are amazing !!! We bought a variety & it’s hard to pick a favorite. Best lemon cupcake I’ve ever had. The regular size is large and rich. We split them into 3 servings each. I’d probably order the mini cupcakes next time.“
“Honestly, can't believe I drove past this place so often and didn't realize it's worth as an ice cream lover. It's truly a hidden gem! I got a milkshake and they scooped a decent amount of ice cream making the consistency nice and thick. It's super cute, there's so much variety. There's the popsicles, the ice cream, agua fresca, mangonada, and sundaes. Now that I know this place exists, I'm definitely stopping by whenever it's on my route.“
“Have loved Counter Culture for years. My "go-tos" are the turkey melt on Jalapeño cheddar bread and the Humphrey Yogart. Their bread is amazing and I keep forgetting to ask if they make it in house. Employees are attentive, quick and cordial. The inside is clean and decorated with LSU posters. I usually use the drive through and the wait is never very long. Would recommend trying this BR staple.“
“I recently had the pleasure of trying the snowman snowballs, and I must say, they truly have the best snowballs in the city. From the moment you take your first bite, you're transported to a winter wonderland of flavor and texture. The snowballs at Snowman Snowballs are nothing short of extraordinary. The ice is finely shaved, creating a velvety smoothness that melts in your mouth. The consistency is just right, not too icy or watery like some other places. Each bite is a delightful combination of sweet and refreshing. What sets Snowman Snowballs apart is their incredible variety of flavors. They have an extensive menu with options to suit every taste bud imaginable. From classic favorites like strawberry and cherry to unique creations like snowmans cream. They even offer sugar free options for those watching their sugar intake.I can confidently say that Snowman Snowballs deserves a perfect rating of 10 out of 10. Their dedication to quality and innovation shines through in every aspect of their snowballs. If you're looking for a refreshing treat that will transport you to a snowy paradise, I highly recommend giving Snowman Snowballs a try. You won't be disappointed.“

I would give him 10 stars if I could he never disappoint me…Thank you for being great at what you do.. when you make the fluffy ice it’s like snow no lumps or chunks of hard ice“
“Who still buys snowballs.? Snowballs took over for the '99's and '00's. There's a new sheriff in town and it's called "Italian Ice." It came to takeover for the 2010's and Beyond. And if your looking for the right spot for your italian ice to hit the spot then "Ty-Ty's Italian Ice & Concessions" is your go to spot. Recently opening in the Baton Rouge area, I just had to give it a try and I haven't been able to stop going ever since. Awesome flavors served by an awesome family. Mom, Dad, Son, and Daughter; perfect combination stirring up perfect italian ice combos. 5 ⭐'s for the quality of the customer service, the great flavors, and the family just being wonderful people. Drop them snowballs and pick up on an italian ice, you'll be guaranteed to never switch back. ????????❣️“
“I love frozen yogurt. I went twice in the span of a single week because it was very enjoyable. This location is pretty clean :) and has a decent amount of flavors. Sampling is available. The topping station is clean and fully stocked. The cashier was kind. There are a couple tables to sit at.Also they have free giant spoons. So cute!“
“This is my favorite franchise for dessert. It's fun just to roll up and order and eat outside or drive thru. The concretes are loaded and always good - perfect texture. The seasonal ones are usually my go-to order but the staples on the menu are also good. The employees at this particular location were very attentive and polite. Couldn't really ask for more. I can't wait until the Fall for the apple pie concrete, which is legendary.“
“My favorite is the parfait. TCBY Yogurt is a beloved destination for frozen yogurt enthusiasts, allowing guests to create their own delicious treats with a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from; it's a perfect spot to indulge in a refreshing and customizable dessert.“
“I ordered a cake for pick up. The store was unfortunately closed. We were not sure what to do. I reached out through the contact us part on the website and immediately got a response. Marc responded and was extremely helpful in getting our cake to us. He drove to us to bring us the cake. This went above and beyond any expectations and it was truly appreciated. The cake was great, also!“
“I brought my grandchildren here for a delicious treat. The owner was super nice and had them all pull up a chair so they could watch their ice cream being made. I love supporting local, family owned businesses, too. I highly recommend this place for children of all ages! Great ice cream and great service!“
