Decided to make this our first food stop once we arrived in Baton Rouge. They definitely did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was A1. Located behind a small convenient store in a trailer, this small establishment puts out some serious flavors. Typical wait time is around 20 minutes per order since everything is made on the spot. One of the places I love checking out when working in the area.. I ended up getting the baked chicken dinner with sweet potatoes and cabbage as usual the meal was delicious at a very reasonable price. The service was excellent. Don't get me wrong the meal was good but the sweet potatoes were absolutely delicious.

It's been a long time since I've been here and the food has always been amazing. Everything was hot and fresh. The grits were really good and the fish was crispy. The French toast and the chicken wings were amazing as well. One person shouldn't eat this much food but I was stuffed and happy. I hid in the car so I didn't have to share. There is a bit of wait bits it's worth it. You can either wait in the car or sit in the sitting area they have provided.
