This place can do no wrong in my book. If they ever close, I will honestly cry. The chicken parm will give u reason for living. The veggie lasagna also top notch. Please support this place, even if occasionally the service is lacking, they make up for it x1000000 w the incredible and authentic flavors & atmosphere!!!

What the hell?!?! Are they closed? The owners car was there just now and the sign on the door saying closed today! Second time we drove all the way over here and it's closed! What is going on Pinetta's?!?! There was one other car there and a couple of others drove up while we were there. Losing business.

Is this place open? I hear how great the Italian food is there but in the 7-8 times I've tried to eat here it always seems to have the same sign "Pinetta's will be closed today"I give up

How in the world have I lived in Baton Rouge for 16 years and have only just tried Pinetta's?! This place is a tiny little hole in the wall gem.My boo and I both had horrible work days, the wait at Ruth's Chris was like 3 hours (clearly we were in treat to self mode) and we stumbled upon Pinettas. It was still Covid so we had to mask to walk in (and actually saw them turn away someone that didn't comply), but it was quiet, not difficult with just a few tables, and exactly what we both needed. We started with a glass of red and a beer for him, and then ordered the calamari and a small Caesar to share for starters. It was pretty damn solid. Nothing out of the ordinary for either, but delicious. For dinner I ordered the ravioli and my husband got the lasagna. I'm pretty picky about pasta sauces and like them laid on thick, not just a taste, and I enjoyed both the pesto and red sauce on the lasagna. The portions were generous and we each had some to bring home! All in all a great night and definitely somewhere we would revisit.

Don't come here unless you got some time to kill. Got plans later? Tight schedule? There are other Italian places nearby that'll do for ya. Pinetta's is just a thing you gotta go in and do yourself with some time to kill, cus it's a small place that's understaffed but the food is surprisingly good. Red sauce here has deep flavors, isn't runny, and cooked in a way that I can only describe as caramelized. Look through the pictures of the interior and you'll immediately tell this place has stories to tell. Come and experience atleast one of those stories. Pinetta's has been in Baton Rouge long enough deserve a chance, and while it may not be "Best Of" in any local publications it's a long time local that may not be here much longer.

Was told to go try the best veal parm in the city and was very disappointed by the burnt, salty sauce. The atmosphere and service were the best things and I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

My two stars are for the fact that it says you’re open when you’re actually not open. Made a trip only to get there and turn around. Although I love their food.

Best Italian and European food in Baton Rouge. Forget quick service, forgot silly complaints. Literally the most unique best European and especially Italian food. Do yourself a favor and go.

Terrible management and woefully unprepared for a Valentine's Day rush. I LOVE Pinetta's food and it's one of our go-to spots for a casual date night, but they simply cannot handle more than three or four tables at a time in their restaurant. The two (!) servers were running wild trying to keep up while the owner (?) simply stood by and watched, blissfully unaware of the chaos ensuing around her. I want nothing more than for Pinetta's to succeed and to be around for generations to come, but that's not going to happen until they clear the dead weight and bring on some real restaurant talent to run the front of house.

In my top 5 BR restaurants without a doubt :) the lady explained they haven't changed their menu in many years (i don't want to put the wrong number because I don't remember but it was an exorbitant quantity). I can see why they haven't had the need to do so!

I always enjoy this place. Food is very good and well priced. The only downside is the wait. If you're in a hurry then go somewheres else because you will be here for at least two hours. It's a small place that doesn't have many tables. I would say that if you like Italian food it is a must try.

Food was delicious!! Atmosphere was great! I got the lasagna, my husband got the scallopini. Both were fantastic! Our waiter was awesome!! I highly recommend!

would place it on another table away from me. That was also not possible. I then told the waiter that if I went into anaphylactic shock it would be on the owner since I warned them. The waiter was so kind that I did order something else and it was so salty that it was inedible. Bottom line is I will never go back and will spread the word about the craziness of the owner of this place. Please do not waste time or money here

The online menu is inaccurate, and the owner refuses to make a current menu available. So if you are picking up for a group, bring a lot of extra money (business lunch nightmare). The food is still fantastic and worth the effort, no matter why you are there.

Very Very dark. Need to use light on phone to read menu. Small venue. Only one staff member who greeted, sat you, waited, served and I'll bet bussed the tables. Service was slow. Food was average.
