This is BBQ as it should be. Made by a passionate guy who loves and knows BBQ.We travel a lot and tasted hundreds (not kidding) of BBQ joint and this on is up there with the best.Delicious, very moist and perfectly cooked brisket.Fall of the bone (just enough!!!!) back ribs. Great spice rub.First time having turkey wings. Will definitely try that at home.Also he make beef rib strips..... If there is something between brisket and beef jerky, this would be it.Keith is a passionate pit master who makes awesome BBQ.You definitely have to try it.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat, well worth the 30-40 min drive I have to make. Food is so delicious and the staff will treat you with care and respect. One time eating there, a guy came out of the kitchen to give us MORE brisket because he only gave us slim cuts and wanted us to have fats too, and mind you we had already paid and almost finished eating. My only wish is that for them to serve drinks! I would kill for a sweet tea with all that perfect food. Overall though, can’t recommend this place enough.

I visited this place for the first time last week. I am the type of person that wants to try everything on a menu! I ordered three plates just off of the scent of the food when I approached the stand and I will be honest, this has got to be the best bbq I ever had! Seasoned, smokey flavor and the sides tasted as if they were made in an old School kitchen with love. I am disappointed that they are are closed on certain days. I will not eat bbq from any restaurant now that I have tried this place! Job well done!!!

Hands down the best BBQ in Baton Rouge. Very friendly people. The beef ribs are the best I've had outside of Texas. I don't know what they do to the baked beans but I absolutely love them and the greens are always on point!!!!

One of the only joints in the city that actually smokes near old school style. Wood burning, charcoal and low/slow! Best brisket in the entire city and if you get to catch the smoked oxtails just say yes!!

WOW some of the best brisket I have ever had. Tender, juicy, well smoked & seasoned. And his beef ribs every Saturday is mouth watering good. Always get them when they’re available. Best bbq in town hands down.

The ribs were advertised as baby backs and they were def st Louis. I don’t eat those types of ribs so here is where the good part kicks in. The best St. Louis ribs I’ve had. I’d eat them again. The food was hot tender ribs great experience! I’ll be back for sure. Should have taken pics.

I ordered the smoked turkey, mac & cheese, baked beans, and potato salad.The turkey wings were hard and mummified in foiled, the sides tasted like store brand sides you find in the Deli department. My expectations were way too high.. ?
