I’m really disappointed about their new location. We used to drive to Shreveport once a month to get our hands on their delicious cupcakes. When they moved to Airline I was beyond excited. Not even a year later they moved to the inside of a steak restaurant. Someone told me they were bought out. The new location is neither welcoming nor pleasant to walk inside to pick out cupcakes. Being that my wife is a vegetarian, she wants nothing to do with these cupcakes. It saddens me that the new owner would take something so amazing and destroy it. Luckily there’s a new cupcake place near our home they we frequent instead. Shouldn’t have sold out Buttercups. Hope it was worth it.

I drove down Airline Drive to the Bossier store and discovered that Buttercups had relocated to a new location, inside a restaurant. That seemed odd but I like the cupcakes and I wanted them for a gift. It feels awkward walking into one business to get to another and the entire feel of the store is now different. It's darker. It doesn't have the light, airy feel of a candy store or ice cream parlor. The staff is still very friendly and helpful and the cupcakes are still excellent but it's a different shopping experience. I personally prefer the Shreveport location.I noticed another review complaining about flies. I noticed one single fly. Just one but yes, it was flying from cupcake to cupcake. I'm not sure this can be avoided entirely.

I have had these cupcakes before and they are wonderful. But I am very disappointed with the Bossier location. It has relocated to inside Silver Star in Haughton and it is horrible. It is an open display case so flies are flying around all the desserts and landing on some. It is so dim that is difficult to see. I couldn't tell what was cupcake liner and what was my cupcake. When I finally removed the liner half my cupcake. Go to the Shreveport location or a grocery store.

We were visiting LA for a double graduation and I needed a place to ordered quality cupcakes.I called the Buttercups bakery and Bailey took my order she was very helpful and polite.The bakery has two locations and they made all the arrangements for us to get our order closer to our dinner event. The cupcakes were delicious and they looked so great.

Buttercups has the best in north LA by everyone’s opinion. They’ve been making the best cupcakes for over 10 years and were featured on Cupcake Wars! They’re specialty cupcakes, like for Harry Potter, are unique. Plus the stores and staff are wonderful. It’s a must-try if you love decadent pastries!

Love Love Love!I have been eating buttercup cupcakes for years. I work in Shreveport, but live in Benton. So excited when they finally opened in Bossier! Love the Shreveport location but the bossier one is so cute! My favorite is the red velvet. So delicious and moist! The icing is my favorite part. The wedding cake is wonderful and I can’t wait for the pumpkin to come in the fall!

GROSS GROSS GROSS NEVER BUY AGAIN. We purchased a dozen cupcakes for $50.00, 6 Wedding cake, 1 choc, 1 strawberry, 1 cin.toast crunch, 1 birthday cake, 1 fruitie. ALL WERE EXTREMELY DRY AND STALE.WHEN KIDS DONT EAT THE CUPCAKES THERE IS SOMETHING DIFFERENTLY WRONG!!!The pieces of cereal that was on them was all stale and rubbery. We used to buy all the time when the cupcakes were twice the size. Now they are very small cupcakes and the price has increased. 12 CUPCAKES $50 BUCKS WOW, Not worth the money or time. I will be making OUR own cupcakes at home from now on. They are now gross!!
