“First time going to 1938 Smokehouse was great!!! Staff super friendly and the beef ribs were great!! I purchased two beef ribs and one spare beef rib with two sides(greens & beans) was all good and dont forget the sauce!!! You will thank me later!! I'm definitely going back!!! I can't forget they also have snow cones with soft ice and great flavors. In whole I give this place a 10/10 and will try again“
“A hidden gem on the north side of Bossier! Both times I’ve been here have been consistently great. The food is fantastic (chicken falls off the bone, brisket is smoked to perfection) and the staff is incredibly courteous. “Silver Star Smokehouse is always a great experience. The food is excellent, every time. The service is almost always with a smile. There's plenty of parking, and sometimes there's a little wait, but it's not too bad most of the time. They have the best filet in the area, in my opinion, but you're going to pay for it. It's a little bit pricey, but I will say it's always worth every penny. Great experience and a great time, every time I eat here!
