I always liked Buds Broiler growing up in NOLA in Mid City across from Delgaldo University. Glad they opened up in Covington. My favorite burger is the one with cheese,grilled onions,and their famous hickory smoke sauce. It is Great to have an old NOLA favorite in Covington. Hope it stays forever on the Northshore

The food is definitely not worth the cost. $22 for 2 burgers, 2 drinks & 1 order of onion rings. Frozen burgers on a grill is not a good selling point. The burger buns were on the stale side. I ordered a burger with chili & cheese and they rung up the order wrong and swapped the chili with their bbq sauce. I asked the guy if I could get some chili but he said he must have not hit the right button and that he couldn't do anything unless I ordered extra chili. Definitely will not be back!

Very subpar burger. Definitely not worth the wait. It's been a real challenge to find a good burger place in the Covington/Mandeville area. As busy as this place is, I thought that I was going to finally find a good burger place but that was definitely not the case. It's not a fast food place by any means but it had the same food quality as a fast food burger.

Son picked up ? they were great! French fries no salt so just ok. The hamburgers, bar b que, are really good also.Easy access, parking.

NOT FAST FOOD. Don't think you can stop here for something quick. Poor workers, there's only 2 of them and the line is so long. They have a hiring sign but not sure if the 35min wait just to order is worth the 30min wait to get the food and eat. A shame

I can recall skipping out of school as a teenager to run to Bud's for a sandwich many many years ago! When this location opened up in my area... I was not impressed as it didn't match what I remembered. But... today it really hit the mark! Even the quirky unfriendly service and 4% up charge for credit cards was exactly what I expected. 5 stars for bringing back memories of good times and good food! Lol... one free refill only!!!

Burgers are explicit word delicious. Just don't mess around and order a drink. These cats think it's ok to charge 3.50 for a drink ramming the grand total up to right at 12 dollars for a basic combo meal. The drinks would have to be as tasty as the burgers for that to make sense.
Terrible,burger was cold asked for a cheeseburger but got no cheese.Service was terrible. I will never go back.

Orders the Big Bud for $9. The meat smelled rotten and tasted bitter. I ate about half of the burger and had to throw it away. My stomach is feeling queezy already. The burger is a public health hazard. Go elsewhere to avoid stomach problems.

Simple menu with the classics. Burger, fries, milkshake, etc. Very affordable. They did have a long wait. Worth the char-broiled burger tho.

Really surprised.... are hopes were high..... then we got it and the cheese was ice cold, burger was hot for about 30 seconds till the cold cheese sat against it. But it was pretty thin patty and small. More cheese than burger.. Fries were hard and cold.

Instead of taking orders when they’re busy, they pick up the phone and hang up on you. So much for good ole buds broiler. Covington buds broiler is a joke. This is the 4th time I’ve tried and have had the same terrible experience. Food is awful if you are able to get through. Maybe they’ll get new management soon.
