“This is our favorite place to eat. It truly is phenomenal! We drive a ways to go eat there. Our waiter Riley was awesome an is our favorite. You don't have to ask for any anything, he's the best! There is not one thing we've tried that wasn't cooked to perfection! If you haven't ever tried it...go try it. We call it our honey hole! Until next time thank you Half Shell Oysters House, see you again soon!“
“Consistently great food and service; always clean, and they recently refreshed the interior so it's looking even better. This restaurant is a popular choice, so at peak times there's usually a wait for a table, but it's so worth it! I highly recommend the Voodoo Crawfish Rolls appetizer.“
“Chef does a fantastic job! Party of 6, everything was excellent! My son had pompano and raved, his wife had bacon wrapped shrimp which were excellent, I had quail, excellent, my wife had a eggplant dish also excellent and my father had softball crab all great!“

From delicious fare to home-cooked meals, their wonderful service ensures every visit is a must-try experience. With authentic Cajun cuisine and real Cajun food, Tasty Delights delivers a taste of Louisiana that's simply unmatched.“
“Wonderful fresh cooked food for out of towners like me. Best jambalaya, and cheeseburger poboy I've ever had for breakfast. Family owned business with very personable girls that are helpful, happy, and smiling at the counter. Thank you. Hopefully I'll be down again sometime from my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa.“
“Very nice staff and a clean good-looking restaurant. Quick and affordable with nice portions. The jambalaya was good but not great, and the pastalaya came out greasy. What's with spaghetti noodles for that? White beans were fantastic, chicken stew was great, but the worst macaroni and cheese I've ever had in a restaurant. Surely must have been an off day, it couldn't stay that bad.“
“I don't normally recommend a place unless I really like it. I live in California, but visit family in this area as much as I can. I love authentic Louisiana flavor, and I make it a point to stop here on my trips.I find the staff is helpful and friendly in making recommendations and being patient. I must say I typically buy the same stuff every time I'm here; spicy jack boudin balls, smoked boudin sausage, and pork cracklins (they have chicken cracklins too). The flavors score a 10 out of 10.I froze the boudin sausage for my flight home, and it warmed up in an air fryer just fine.Definitely recommend as a legit Cajun meat vendor and also to stop by for a hearty meal. It's so sad I live so far away.“
“Honestly, despite the awful posts that are out there, we had a WONDERFUL experience at Copelands of Covington last night! It was a Friday night, and we sat on the patio to listen to the live music while we dined. It was a beautiful atmosphere and our food and waitress, Megan was phenomenal! Seriously!! Service (at least by Megan) was timely, accommodating, and delightful. Food was served hot, well timed, and tasted really good! Literally ZERO complaints! Def a must try, especially on the patio if there's also live music. (Ok, only "complaint" was that they don't take same-day reservations, which makes absolutely no sense, so make reservations at least a day before if you must)“
“Very good fried shrimp and fish. Several TV's if you are interested. Not a loud place. Very good turtle cheesecake! Service was good, not great. Apparently she had several tables. But I do recommend and would go back again without hesitation.“
