We went to Latils Landing during their winter menu. The food was absolutely one of the top 5 meals I've ever had. And that's saying something as I have been all over the world eating great food. The grouper with wild mushrooms was positively sublime. The lobster and sweet potato bisque with truffle oil was a surprising hit. The use of warm water lobster rather than cold water lobster was inspired. The sweet potato needed no additional sweetness and the lobster added a nice texture to the bisque. The waigu beef rib was positively succulent and tender in a way only properly prepared waigu can be. And the balance of salt, spices, and acids was perfect. I will return when the spring menu starts. I'm curious if the chef can keep this level of gustatory performance up.

Everything was wonderful except we did not care for tabasco in the dessert. We have enjoyed coming to Latil's for special occasions for the last 10 -12 years. we also come at other times also. We have stayed in the cottages on several trips .

We actually ate at Dixey's for lunch. It was a buffet. The food was southern and mostly spicy. I enjoyed the bbq chicken and the salad.Wheelchair accessibility: They are wheelchair friendly and have carts to take you around.

Latil's Landing Restaurant at Houmas House Plantation and Gardens gave my wife and I more than just an incredible dinning experience, but also a memorable night that we will always be able to look back on with a smile. Also, before dinner we participated in the Houmas House Untold Ghost Stories tour, which is exclusive to certain dates and times in the month of October. This tour truly captured the essence of the Plantation grounds and gave historical background on many people and objects associated with the Houmas House. There is also a general historical tour of the Houmas House throughout the majority of the year and no matter what tour you might partake in, I would highly recommend taking a tour before eating because it really sets a nice tone for the dinning experience. It can be a bit of a pricey experience, but it's definitely worth saving up some money for if your looking to have an amazingly unforgettable experience. Again, because of the Houmas House and the people that maintain it and keep it's spirit alive, my wife and I were able to create a memory we will never forget. Thank y'all for everything and you can bet that we will be back again one day, but until then take care.

First let me say we were so happy to be able to get back into Latils Landing. The pre designed meal was amazing! Our waiter Josh was a perfect host. Answering all our questions. And giving us a peak at future plans on menu changes. And his choice for the classic rock music made it all exceptional! We can't wait to come back for dinner under the oaks in a few months. 5 stars all around!

We live in New Orleans and have been to Homas House a few times. Love the setting and grounds. Last night we made the trip just for drinks at the Turtle Bar followed by dinner at Latil's. The 5 course tasting meal was perfect (well prepared and tasty), the room was cozy and the wine pairings were worth it. Highly recommended. A do-over even with the 1 hr drive which says a lot given the many options in our NOLA backyard!

Our party of 6 had the Chef's Menu. We were in an awesome quiet private room. Everything was GREAT! The only negative was it took a long time to get cocktails. The chef did an amazing job with the food and wine pairings. The server was terrific. We will return!

We had a wonderful meal and experience! My friend and I were celebrating birthdays and we are pescatarian. The server was attentive and accommodating and said the chef happily made changes to the proteins for us. Bonus was walking through the gardens at dusk and enjoying the exotic plants and birds. We will definitely be back and will be telling friends about this hidden gem.
