My gumbo was fantastic, and my wife's oysters were good. Our waitress was fantastic, she was the perfect mix of helpful without being annoying, which is always appreciated. The restaurant itself was a bit disappointing. The hush puppies and food smashed on the floor was not a good look. As this was our 1st visit, I will assume a bigger party with kids had left a mess the staff hadn't yet gotten around to cleaning up. Overall, it was a decent visit that I will probably take again.
We are from Texas and ate at Duke's Seafood & Steakhouse because it was close to a store we wanted to shop at. The restaurant was conveniently located, so we decidetry it.The food was fabulous. I recommend going at an odd time of day as it's usually packed. The fried pickles are my favorite appetizer! Everything on the menu is good. Prices are good. You get what you pay for. Drinks are good as well. I love the oysters and stuffed flounder. Staff is friendly and quick.
