Nice place with plenty room and relaxed atmosphere. Servers all very nice and helpful. Some of the perfectly prepared fish and frog legs were over salted. But otherwise well done and will come back.
If you haven't visited Duke's Seafood & Steakhouse in Denham Springs, Louisiana, I strongly suggest you make plans to go. I've dined there multiple times, and both the food and service have consistently impressed me. On my last visit, which was on Friday, April 26, 2024, I ordered the boiled crawfish with corn on the cob and boiled potatoes. I must say, they were simply perfect! The way they seasoned and cooked the crawfish was so exceptional that I jokingly thought about adopting the chef! Every time I go, I'm reminded why it's one of my favorite spots. Give Duke's a try—you won't regret it, and you might just discover your new go-to restaurant.

Ask this same question just a couple years ago and the results would be polar opposite. My fish and shrimp were overcooked. My meal included a baked potato in which I requested "loaded". Did not get my potato with my meal, was finished with my entree, and then the potato was brought out plain with a cup of cheese on side. My wife ordered her meal with a cup of seafood gumbo. I was nearly done with my entire meal by the time her gumbo showed up to the table. Do Better! We will give them one more chance, but it will also be a while before we do....
They were ok I just didn't like the prices they didn't vary enough everything including the appetizers were around the same price. The food was ok might get takeout one day most likely won't be back visiting the restaurant anytime soon didn't really care for the seating.

I recommend going at an odd time of day as it's usually packed. The fried pickles are my favorite appetizer! Everything on the menu is good. Prices are good. You get what you pay for. Drinks are good as well. I love the oysters and stuffed flounder. Staff is friendly and quick.

My gumbo was fantastic, and my wife's oysters were good. Our waitress was fantastic, she was the perfect mix of helpful without being annoying, which is always appreciated. The restaurant itself was a bit disappointing. The hush puppies and food smashed on the floor was not a good look. As this was our 1st visit, I will assume a bigger party with kids had left a mess the staff hadn't yet gotten around to cleaning up. Overall, it was a decent visit that I will probably take again.
