“Bo knows exactly how to do his crawfish! I've been to alot of places in South Louisiana and by God he's got it! He knows me as the cf guy ordering hundreds of pounds of crawfish for after work years ago. And to this day I can walk in an he remembers who I am.“
“"The Chance" is like stepping back in time, the food is excellent and different with a few home style favorites but the people make the difference. The staff were friendly, quick and are always smiling. There is always a crowd around the bar that are quick to engage you in a conversation and make you feel like a part of their community.“
“Overall it was great. I highly recommend making this a regular thing, not just a great meal, but the experience of an incredible garden and grounds that nothing else can beat. The Turtle bar is a must, they have most every type of high end alcohol that exists. The only improvement needed is the wait staff. There's enough staff, they are simply inexperienced and young. Overall, still worth the experience.“
“Hitting on all cylinders at this location. Small dining area in comparison to some of their other locations. Even with a huge party, the wait staff, kitchen, and food was spot on! Everything come out super fast and was correct and flavorful! Most certainly consider it worth the drive.“
“I was in the Gonzales area with my mother in law and the seafood place she wanted to go to wasn't open. I googled some restaurants in the area and came across ToeGo Seafood. The service was excellent, very friendly and the food was amazing. I definitely will visit again when I'm in the area.“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants. "Restaurant" is not the right word. "Experience" would be more accurate. I'll start with food. On the menu there is a pumpkin crawfish bisque that when I initially saw that combo I turned my nose up at it but decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did - unlike anything I've ever had! I'm always so torn. Trying to decide what to get. For a first time, or I would have to insist on the eggplant Napoleon. It's piled high with so much lump crab meat. I don't know how they offer it for the price it is. But the pork chop with the sweet potato, mash and brussels sprouts... OMG! The service is always great! You're given a basket of breads and biscuits for the table with a couple of butter options. The butter with the Steen's syrup is my favorite. on our last visit, we were celebrating a birthday. The birthday girl was surprised with an array of sweets. But as I said, this is more than just a restaurant, it's an experience. Plan extra time before your reservation or after so that you can view the gorgeous grounds! From the house to the gardens to the fountains to the covered archway, you're going to need at least an extra hour for exploring .“
“Went to have drink and see acoustic duo, Perique, perform on the patio. Ended up staying for both sets and really enjoyed the food (the charbroiled oyster app and grilled yellowfin tuna entree) as much as the performance. The young lady tending bar was sweet and attentive to all the patrons' needs. The group came to chat after their final set and were two terrific guys that have a real talent for their craft. A very nice evening out.“
“Worth the drive for Mexican food! Locals will eat there regularly and have built friendship and know you by name. Maria takes great pride in ownership. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere complements the hot fresh food.Recommend anything on the menu as it is all good. We have enjoyed the Happy Plate.Parking: Plenty of parking. Accommodations to small and large vehicles.Kid-friendliness: Seating appropriate for families and groups“
“C and G Seafood Deli305 S Burnside Ave, Gonzales, LA 70737I have been craving crawfish for over a year now. And I finally had a chance to satisfy my hunger for crawfish! It may be more expensive this season compared to last year due to the crawfish shortage, but it was very worth it, in my personal opinion. The awesome flavors and good quality make up for the price. They also have other goodies like crawfish pasta, fried fish, fried chicken, and so much more! In conclusion, this place is worthy!#Tonylameats #candgseafood #gonzalesla #crawfish #cajunfood #seafood #deli“
“Just driving through pulled up the search for good Roast beef Po'boy, they also have a big selection of Chinese foods. I got a sm chicken fried rice, very good. The sandwich, eh, not as good as I remember them when I lived in Metairie. The juice was good. But the meat didn't have that deep roast beef being cooked down. I ate it, but looks like I'll have to make another trip on day.“
“The food was pretty good and the wait was not too long they menu is big it's Chinese restaurant and seafood restaurants all in one location I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing lol but the serving is a good amount they didn't have any shrimp egg rolls available yiu can call in but they line be busy so best just to go their“
