“Got the Oxtail meal, beignets, Po boy, char grills oysters (loaded) and had a little of the big back meal… NADIA YOU AINT HAVE NO BUSINESS MAKING ALL THIS FOOD THIS GOOD!!!!! yes I ate everything. The oxtail came with rice, cabbage l, sweet potatoes and Mac n cheese… that cabbage!!!!!!!!! Had me seeing stars! The oxtails!!! Made to perfection. The oysters EVERYTHING was damnnn good. My only regret is I didn’t bring a cooler down to bring food back …. I’ll know for next time. 100000010101010101/10 . Keep following your dreams Nadia I’m so proud of and happy for you!!! “We went in for breakfast and two of us ordered hash browns. While the girl at the counter was very polite and professional and helpful when it came to our coffee order, she did not mention that the hash browns would be tater tots. Tots. Granted, these were cooked to perfection for tater tots but they were not hash browns. It would have been nice if we were told that the hash browns we ordered would be tater tots. My grandmother would have likely ordered something else. Would she have known.
I never seem to know what coffee to order, so I ordered one of the fall specials and my sister ordered the red velvet. I thought it was neat that they put actual red velvet cake mix on the side of the cup, and I actually enjoyed her drink a lot more than I did mine.
I also appreciate that they have several sugar-free options. They also have packets of stevia at the table which is not common in most establishments in this area.
I've only been to this location twice, and plan to return. It's certainly worth a visit, especially if you're visiting Danos across the Bayou.”

“Beautiful restaurant, the menu was full of delicious choices. We chose the 10 oz filet which was cooked to perfection. We added crabmeat to one of the steaks and scallops to the other. Delicious the best dinner you can get anywhere in this area!! The wait staff could not have been better. A+++”

“I would not get the roast beef poboy again. It tastes awesome but today’s roast beef poboy was so sloppy I had to eat it with a fork. Fries were fresh and crispy. We had great service and they were very welcoming. Prices are very reasonable down to the drinks. I’d probably go back but try something else.”

I ordered the honey-lemon chicken with corn grits, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and wonderfully balanced. The atmosphere has that “great little place” feel: cozy, welcoming, and relaxed. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, stopping by just the right amount to make sure you have everything you need without ever feeling rushed. Fabulous food, warm service, and a comfortable setting make 531 Liberty Cafe a must-visit.”
